I was about to send my N-400 form but I realized the date has been updated at the bottom of the pages. should i go through all over and fill out again? another thing, some people told me it is safe to send more documents than what the document checklist and instruction say e.g. state ID and passport?? I need an opinion from people who already approved and citizenship at their hands. Answers will be greatly appreciated.:)

If the forms on USCIS have been updated then you must use the updated forms or face an RFE for out-dated forms.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

If you look at the N400 forms page on the UCSIS website it says this......

Edition Date :

03/22/12;

(06/17/11; 01/18/11; 11/23/10; 04/05/10; 01/15/10 and 01/22/09 editions also accepted)

Unless you have a very old form you are good to go. :thumbs:

If you are applying based on 5 years as LPR, you really don't need anything extra.

If your application is based on marriage plus 3 years LPR, it might make you feel better to load up on current documents that refer to you and your spouse, i.e. joint utility bills, mortgage statements, lease agreement, etc. -- proof of ongoing marriage. I wouldn't go so far as to send extra identity documents, such as your spouse's passport AND birth certificate, for example. Mostly just give them what they're asking for.
