Filing for AOS from my B1/B2 visa (husband and both sons are US citizens) and trying to assemble our applictaion packet now. I apologize in advance if some of these questions seem silly. I just need to make sure I get everything right!

- Is there a particular kind of envelope we need to use for submitting this?

- I noticed that several forms ask for passport-style photos (I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765). So I'm assuming I'm sending several photos then -- 1 or 2 for each of the forms (whichever's required)? How exactly do I attach the photos to the form?

- I have been trying to fill out and print Form I-765 from the USCIS website but it says that I cannot save anything onto this form. Is it just my computer or is anyone else having problems downloading a copy that can be filled out on the computer? Is there anywhere else I can get a copy of this form?

- When asked for USCIS office where I'm filing the application, what should I put? Should I put whichever USCIS office is closest to where we live?

- If I am a Visitor on a B1/B2 visa, do I have an Alien Registration Number? Is the number on my I-94 considered an A-number?

- I just want to make sure I got this one right. For the Form G-1145, I only need one form for the whole packet, right? That'll cover I-485, I-130, I-864, I-131 and I-765?

Again, i'm so sorry if some of these questions seem dumb. I just want my application to be fool-proof and would really appreciate any help!!! Thanks in advance!

No

I put them in small ziploc bags and either stapled them to the form or papercliped them

Filing for AOS from my B1/B2 visa (husband and both sons are US citizens) and trying to assemble our applictaion packet now. I apologize in advance if some of these questions seem silly. I just need to make sure I get everything right!

- Is there a particular kind of envelope we need to use for submitting this?- I used a regular big envelope so everything fits flat.

- I noticed that several forms ask for passport-style photos (I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765). So I'm assuming I'm sending several photos then -- 1 or 2 for each of the forms (whichever's required)? How exactly do I attach the photos to the form?--I put the photos in a ziplock bag, stapled the bag to a blank sheet of paper and labelled the bag (with a label) Photo of, so and so.

- I have been trying to fill out and print Form I-765 from the USCIS website but it says that I cannot save anything onto this form. Is it just my computer or is anyone else having problems downloading a copy that can be filled out on the computer? Is there anywhere else I can get a copy of this form?-Mine still let me type the items in?

- When asked for USCIS office where I'm filing the application, what should I put? Should I put whichever USCIS office is closest to where we live? Yes, whichever is closest to where you live.

- If I am a Visitor on a B1/B2 visa, do I have an Alien Registration Number? Is the number on my I-94 considered an A-number? No, the A number is a red number listed on your visa. it's not on the I-94. Some people do not have one. if you do not have one, you put "none" on the forms.

- I just want to make sure I got this one right. For the Form G-1145, I only need one form for the whole packet, right? That'll cover I-485, I-130, I-864, I-131 and I-765? I used one for my I-130 and one for my I485

Again, i'm so sorry if some of these questions seem dumb. I just want my application to be fool-proof and would really appreciate any help!!! Thanks in advance!--no questions are dumb-ask anyone here, i asked a lot of them!

Do Not Staple anything. Use only paperclips.

- I have been trying to fill out and print Form I-765 from the USCIS website but it says that I cannot save anything onto this form. Is it just my computer or is anyone else having problems downloading a copy that can be filled out on the computer? Is there anywhere else I can get a copy of this form?

It doesn't save. You have to file and print. However, when you click print sometimes you can have options Adobe Acrobat(PDF) where you choose your printer. But I had to print it right away. It is normal, no worries.

-When asked for USCIS office where I'm filing the application, what should I put? Should I put whichever USCIS office is closest to where we live?

I think you should. But it is trully a small detail, and I think they will send the paperwork wherever is closer to your home address.

Good Luck!
