Maybe somebody could give me an advice

My process has been kind of tough, I send my aplication on July of 2011 since then, I have not recieve my NOA2, so finally last week after calling thousand times a lady told me that there was a mistake and I appear as a Resident on the application, now I am waiting what it is going to be the further action. I hope they are going to update my status to citizen which I originally stated when I send the 129f form , but you never now what are they going to do .

SOMEBODY HAD OR NOW SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM, PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

I AM SO WORRY.

THANKS, GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU.

USCIS mistake allows cause for expedite, however if they realize there is mistake, likely they will expedite even without your request. Call again and if not approved yet, request it be expedited based on USCIS error.

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

so the petitioner somehow got pegged as a permanent resident, not a USCitizen.

OK - got it.

USCIS has made a procedural error.

You should call back on Tuesday, speak to an ISO, a Tier 2 person (not the first person that answers the phone)

and

ask for expedite based on USCIS procedural error.

Then follow the instructions they give you on what to do next.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

If it is their fault, not yours, you can request "Expedite Service" - Getting a Congressman involved will take weeks and all they can do is enquirer on your behalf, they cannot push USCIS to expedite.

Expedite Criteria

All expedite requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and are granted at the discretion of the Director. The burden is on the applicant or petitioner to demonstrate that one or more of the expedite criteria have been met. The criteria are as follows:

Thanks everyone, of course the last week when I called the lady put a service request to VSC telling them that I am citizen since may 4 2011 and not resident . now I am waiting to their response, but once again what really scares me is that they decide to start a new process which would so unfair based on all the time that I already have been waiting .

I submitted copies of my Naturalization certificate (front and back). A complete copy of my US passport. My G-325A, Biographic Information, had all my citizenship information. Did you provide this?
