Bad luck. There are thousands of these superstitions. I think we have had threads here before about them. Alla will not hand anything to me through a doorway and is very careful to put her foot through the doorway first, THEN hand me things, or if I am bringing her groceries for example, she will put one foot OUT before she takes anything from me.

She is a highly trained and educated medical interpreter. :wacko:

If you want to really see them flip out, tell them a story about someone getting hurt and "demonstrate" on them..."Yeah, this guy at work he had his arm cut off by a table saw right here.." and make a mark across her arm.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!! Wash my arm! wash my arm now! DO NOT do that, now MY arm will be cut off!" :o
