Another act of violence claiming innocent lives has occurred in a "gun free" zone, better known as "free fire zones" by criminals. Before good guys with guns could respond to 911 calls at least five have been killed.

California restricts concealed carry to only politically preferred people (usually not minorities or women) and bans the carry of concealed weapons on school grounds. Despite these strict gun laws California has recently experienced horrific crimes committed by people with firearms in places where guns are "not allowed" The brutal murder of people in a hair salon in Seal Beach, CA is another example.

Events such as this have prompted other states to allow concealed carry on college campuses, remove needs for concealed carry permits in order to increase the number of law abiding people that can carry concealed handguns.

Regarding the OP, I live in the county above this. Basically to get a CCW you have give political favors...maybe be a campaign contributor etc.

And not be black or Hispanic, a woman (unless you are giving the issuer of permits sex), poor, from a bad neighborhood where you might actually need a gun to protect yourself, or be of the wrong political affiliation. Great system. Only 6 racist oppressive states still have it.
