JUST A THOUGHT i know i read some forums before about how they come up with numerical number that is yours...i really never thought twice about it..but here is my weird coincidence story...the last 4-digits of my case status number is the last four of my drivers lisence????? i founf that weird or maybe its pure coincidence??? anyone else have that happen?

No drivers license number there. I am sure no rhyme or reason except to them.Just a good coincidence.

Got one better, I had a mastercard that had 666 as the security code on the back of the card. It was definitely weird when making payments or purchases over the phone and having to tell the rep that the number is really 666. So glad when the card expired and the number was changed.

Nope that can't be it those two numbers isn't my processing date according to them. It was 19, notice date 21 and it says 25. Gosh who knows. Just want my number to land on someones dang desk and a miracle happen.

Hey USCIS its an easy application . Trust me we are cool. OF course just on Facebook there 3500 with my name Lord help me.

no no didn't mean it like that,

The four digit code at the end is the case number, but the two digits preceding that are the processing date applicable to the USCIS, those 'processing days' are nothing like the dates you have for receipt or noa 1 dispatch or touch since they are computer 'workdays' int he fiscal year, but in reality the number covers a couple of dates. It's quite well documented around the web.

Here's an example with a vermont case ID

EAC 129 010 XXXX

So, the 10 in this case is the tenth processing day, not the actual date. It applies to the 11th, 12th, 13th of December.

With this

EAC 129 011 XXXX

With this, 11 indicates the 11th processing day and covers the 14th, 15th and 16th of December.

07/09/12 - NVC Casefile Number and IIN Issued.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.

07/18/12 - Optin accepted and new case number, AOS marked paid, emailed AOS packet.

07/24/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.
