Anyone else waiting on interview date for K1?

Sent our Packet 3 twelve days ago.

We mailed our Packet 3 on March 9th, and they received it on the 12th. We still have not heard a thing from them. We emailed them, and that didn't do anything. Let me know when you get your Packet 4, I'll let you know when we get ours.

Hello!

We just got our visa approved. My fiance is in Australia. We mailed our packet 3 on 2/23 and heard back on 3/19 (26 days later). It should take about 3 weeks, maybe plus a few days. Be prepared though. Your interview will be scheduled, most probably, for the next Tuesday (Visa interviews are always on a Tuesday). It is very quick! So get all your stuff together and be ready! Best of luck....I know EXACTLY how you feel!

One other thing....Check your email. Your Packet 4 will come in your email with your interview date. It will go to both of your emails. Make sure you check your JUNK email daily as it will most likely get sent there. My fiance didn't see it until a day after it was actually there.

That's a good point, I was sort of expecting they send me pkt 4 then interview is the Tue after that. I should get my stuff ready! Stuff: i think it's just the payment, then some evidence of ongoing relationship? I don't think I'm missing any documents in pkt 3, and my passport.

You really should never book tickets until you have visa in hand. Unless they're totally refundable or changeable....

Oh yeah and check your junk mail box! One of my interview letters went to junk mail and the other 3 to regular mail!

I wonder if I can go pick up my passport and visa after they approve it, since I live so close. Then I don't need to provide an express envelop.

Correction: Sent Pkt 3 on Feb 29. Pkt 4 was received on 10 April. Interview 17 April.
