I know a few people have said about sending the forms back with a covering letter which includes a proposed date of the wedding, but was that also reflected on the letters of intent? or should those be open and say "Within 90 days"?

On our second letter of intent we just wrote the " within 90 days " and at my interview when he read the two letters he asked if we had a date picked yet and I explained we couldn't effectively pick a date because we did not have the visa approved yet and didn't want to get ahead of things and be disappointed if the outcome wasn't a good one. But that If we had the approval we had already done the research for getting the license and how long it would be from entering to married which would be within a few days of my entering.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

i wasnt asked for a letter of intent at my interview but i took one just in case and i put "within 90 days" on it. the cover letter is asked for on the embassy website and the wedding date you put will help determine how quickly you are assigned an interview date... you put a date of 4 months away and those who put an earlier date will be given an interview before you. it only has to be a rough date if you dont have one set... i just put "early april".
