Hi,

My finace just got packet 3. She has signed and filled the applicant statement and filled the DS-230 PART 1 and is ready to email it back. I have 1 important questions about the DS-230. Can anyone answer this?

The DS-230 PART 1 she received in packet 3 says 02/29/2012 as the Expiry date (Expired: 02/29/2012) on the top. Is this a cause for concern?

Date filed for I-129F: Oct 04, 2011

NOA1 (Text/E-mail): Oct 11, 2011

Notice Date on NOA1: Oct 07, 2011

NOA2 (Online status): Mar 06, 2012 (147 days from NOA1)

NOA2 (Letter): Mar 09, 2012

Letter from NVC: 03/26/2012

Packet 3 Received: 03/31/2012

Packet 3 Returned: 04/02/2012

The date is not a problem, but here on New Delhi India Embassy page, they posted a newer Application DS 230 showing 03/31/2012.

05/22/2012: Interview APPROVED!!!!!!

05/26/2012: Visa in Hand (9 months 11 days from NOA1)

But that expires today too. She wont be sending the form until 4/2/2012.

that's an OMB expiration date - don't worry about it - as the IV unit will keep accepting this stuff.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
