I am worried too. I am kinda suspect but it wont effect on 2010 earlier filers. Might be slow or mini retrofression when vb reach to mid of pd 2010 and above... But thats my guess only.

One thing is good sign for us, US embassy issuing f2a visa which cleared 2009 pd holders.

By April 23, 2012 I will be 17 months of waiting for Vermont to approve my petition..,..My PD date is Nov 23,2010 .. I called them last week and they told me " YOUR CASE IS CURRENT BEING PROCESSING AND PENDING" Its a long wait .. I think its need a lot of patient and we also need to keep life going while waiting than to think about it everyday.

I do feel like this petition gonna be closer to 2 years before it will be approve.. I am also hoping my wife can come here within a year from now by then i will a applying for my citizenship.

You need to request for service request, you are out of processing time and you are also eligible for expedite the case processing. In this situation, I would call and ask for supervisor to look at the case file.

guys, you will love this site i just discovered: http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=4&office=2&charttype=1

select the form, your service center and see the data. you will see that not the applications went up, but the processed applications decreased. In line with that the pending applications started to increase, hence the longer waiting period prediction.
