Sorry if this is a stupid question, but they will email that to me on their own, or do I need to do anything...?

OK, I have a REALLY bizarre situation....and am wondering if this has ever happened to anyone. So online it says my AOS bill is paid, and I have the receipt and everything. But I just went into my bank account, and all the money is still there, nothing has been deducted. WHAT IS GOING ON???

I have the opposite problem...the money's left the bank account but the payment portal hasn't moved. So help me, if they've put EVERYTHING on hold while they wait for the expedite, I may go down there and start doing this: :bonk::bonk::bonk:

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

05/09/2012 - medical in Toronto - passed!
05/22/2012 - interview - passed!
05/25/2012 - visa in hand!!! biggrin.png
06/09/2012 - POE @ YWG (Winnipeg Int'l Airport)

Removal of Conditions submitted March 24, 2014, received March 26, 2014

"RFE" for page 3 of application received, date March 27, 2014. Package re-submitted with all papers re-attached.

04/07/2014 - NOA1 Date

05/07/2014 - Biometrics in Charlotte, NC

11/05/2014 - APPROVED! Citizenship in 5 months!

11/10/2014 - NOA2 in hand.

11/20/2014 - 10 yr GC in hand! :D

:ot: How do ya'll get your signatures in different colours? I try and try but it comes out in black anyway

You highlight the word(s) you want colored, then click on the little icon next to the size of the font (typically at 2). It's an 'A' with a brush. Then choose your color. Don't forget to save ;)

Please don't kick us out of your nest!! We really do want to be informed before opening our "traps" but sometimes there are just too many messages to keep up with!

And good news.....my AOS fee now shows as PAID!!!! Don't know what happened there, how bizarre. Anyways, now I'm going to read up what I have to do next so that I don't get kicked out of the nest for asking unecessary questions, hehe.

I'm not kicking you out of the nest! But when you get an interview date and such, well... you're kinda leaving, aren't you?

And grats on the AOS bill! kicking.gif

OK, THAT is so cute! :) "Fly, my immigration babies, fly on home :D"

Aww luv.gif

The IV bill will show up like the AOS bill did. You usually get an email the day after it shows as invoiced on the payment portal.

When some people have had that issue there's a number of things gone wrong.

1. didn't use internet explorer, confusing NVC's servers

2. the bank information was put in wrong, so it never reached your bank in the first place

3. NVC messed up

Give it another day or so. If something went wrong it will go from PAID to REJECTED and you will have to pay again. (if it hasn't been debited from your bank, no biggie) IF the money was debited from your account and it shows REJECTED or it keeps showing PAID but the money isn't debited call NVC ASAP!

You might not get an email about invoices. My husband nor myself ever received any emails about bills being invoiced. Once my husband saw them invoiced, he just paid right away. Which is what you have to do, pay.

It's probably pending with your bank. Don't worry about it. It'll disappear. The bank probably has a certain time in which accounts are updated.

No i dont have those yet...

You should if she's submitting forms, nothing can be done at NVC with out those numbers. Call NVC,603-334-0700 give them your case number from USCIS, after they ask some questions to verify who you are, they'll give you your MTL number and invoice identification number. Also ask for the Beneficiary ID number.

After you have those numbers log on to the site I linked for you before. Fill out your DS-260 if it's available.

Has she paid any invoices yet that you know of?

They should have been included in the first email NVC sent out. I call it the initial information package as it contains the case number, invoice ID number, and beneficiary ID number, as well as contact info for NVC and a DS-3032. You could also call up NVC and just ask for these numbers. That's how most people get them as that email from NVC usually takes a few days to receive.

Yes, we all check it obsessively. I got the email three days after the portal showed it as invoiced. I had already paid, cleared my bank, and showed paid on the site before the invoice email ever got to me.
