So, I might need your advice again.

I cannot just sit on my butt & do nothing about my situation, since I cannot get a hold of my lawyer. I only have one more document to send out, and that's my husband's W2 and paystubs. I will make sure it gets mailed out, since I have not done this before, I'd appreciate any help/advice I can get.

Do I print out the whole email attachment that I received from the NVC by email? From what I understand, I need to put my NVC case number on the right side of every paper. This might be a silly question, but my W2 and paystubs are printed landscape, but I will put the number on the right side when it is portrait side up, correct?

So pretty much all that goes in the envelope is the NVC checklist paper (that includes the barcode) and the pages for documents that I have?

FedEx Overnight and I should be good?

That's what you do! Just add the barcode checklist sheet, no need to send the entire email. Put the barcode sheet on top, then your documents.

It probably wouldn't hurt to include a cover sheet between the barcode sheet and your documents that has your case number, petitioner's and beneficiary's name, DOB and email and state in the body of what you are sending and why.

Fed-ex that puppy and call them after you know it has arrived.

Yes, all you need to include is the checklist with barcode and the missing documents. You can also include an optional cover letter saying what this document is and why it's being sent in, blah blah blah.

And yeah, writing the case number portrait side on the top right is correct. The point of writing case numbers on documents are to help in case if the document is misplaced from the case, it makes it a lot easier to link it back up if the case number is written on it somewhere.

I hear of people getting checklists for documents that they swear they send in but NVC issues a checklist claiming that they haven't received them... Are these people writing case numbers on every sheet of their packages (aside from barcode and cover letter sheets) or is NVC just that disorganized?

Remember, K-1s are totally different. Ignore K-1 time lines.

They are highly disorganized. They even send checklists for EP cases for things that were in emails they say are missing documents.
