No I didn't, hubby gone to training. Also, can I just till the other IV to be invoiced and pay both at the same time?

Yes, you can pay both at the same time. They're independent tracks, so it doesn't matter.

Laure, how do i know which shot im missing? What is MMR Shot? Can you explain plz. :)

Please read this: http://www.panelphysicians.com/Pages/Age6.htm Those are the shots you'll need.

Question.......If NVC does request a document from you,(RFE)that will take some time based on the country you are from. Can you ask them if you can provide the document at the time of interview?

Yes, it's possible. I've seen it happen yes.gif

Well, called NVC again today and still no interview. I've been on a streak for nicest NVC officers though... really cheery for the last week! Have to love NVC Nigel.

264 days since we started this whole wretched process. Closing up on 9 months (can't imagine how much longer it would have taken if I'd had an RFE or two).

I feel like being nervous about this is probably now so ingrained in my daily routine that I'll still be on edge for months after my husband gets here. It's probably my new semi-permanent jittery state of being.

Haveta love Nigel.. that accent oooooo is sooo dreamy. I could listen to him talk all day!

It does suck waiting so long. We're on day 292.

Because it took 260 days to get through USCIS, we decided to just wait until June so he can get his IR-1 visa. Another month or two wait will be worth not having to Adjust Status from a CR-1.

In three years hubby does plan on getting citizenship, just for the simple fact we don't want to deal with USCIS visa/green card issues again!

Yikes! It took you ages to get through USCIS too. We only got married in June last year, so we're going to have to wait another year to adjust status... I think you're smart to avoid that hassle :D

Saylin, put me down for an RFE...just got the checklist email...grrrrr

:(

Did they lose just the DS-230 or the entire IV package?

Yes i sent it from monday,i have a question can i wait for the IV to be invoiced as well or do i need to pay AOS 1st then IV? I just want hubby to send in one mail as he might not have the time to send multiple packages

Like others have said, the AOS and IV are two independent tracks. You can pay which you want first, and you can send whichever package you want first (after the bills appear as PAID of course).

Seeing that i got the AOS invoiced today do you know how long it would be before they invoiced the IV, or do I have to wait until they accept the DS-3032 before the other invoice is done? Sorry for all the questions and i did read the posts.

Like others have said, the IV has NOTHING to do with the AOS track. The IV bill gets invoiced AFTER the DS-3032 is accepted.

We first went for a K-1 in 2009. It was denied in November 2009. We had an idiot of a lawyer that we followed blindly. Instead of telling us we needed a Co-sponsor at the begining he filed all the paperwork. We got to Vancouver for the interview to find out we were totally unprepared. Instead of waiting on a NOIR our 'lawyer' wrote a letter to revoke the application. He then advised us to "get married combine your assets and use his income" and file for CR-1. (assets doesn't quite work that way)

In the mean time I found VJ. Promptly fired the lawyer, we saved money for our wedding, got married in June 2010, saved about 10grand over the next year and finally filed in June 2011.

We wanted to wait until we had enough saved that paying for fees/medicals/interview/moving wasn't going to make us destitute. This time, we have a joint sponsor :)

We didn't expect it to take so long, but it did. When February rolled around with no NOA2 we decided we'll wait it out until June, hoping it didn't take too much longer.

I hope not. IV package is pretty straight forward. The PCC is six months old now,(November) but everyone says it's good for a year, so we should be OK. That's the only questionable thing we have.

Who knew that being self-employed they would want either the 1099 or schedule C, when sending transcripts? (page 4 of the transcripts shows schedule C profit and loss)

I think Darnell hit the nail on the head when he said some 'jet-boy' reviewed our AOS. But in the future I just may tell people that own their unincorporated business or are self-employed contractors to send in the Schedule C and 1099s even with a transcript.

And why are they obsessing over my income? I know I don't make enough, that's why I have a joint sponsor that does! She's not even squeaking by, she makes 300% above poverty level for a family of five!!
