It healed great. She was worried she would have to touch up the blue, but I think it's fine! Yeah I'm past the itchies! That was the worst part of the whole thing! It didn't hurt much, and it never scabbed.

It's on the back of my right shoulder :)

I really like!! Very creative!! :star:

Still patiently (sort of) waiting on DS-3032 acceptance and praying for a CC in April. Trying not to be anxious... but calling NVC bright & early on Monday morning.

You should get DS-3032 acceptance sometime early next week. Then IV bill will be invoiced shortly afterwards. You should be able to mail out your IV package by next Friday, getting a CC the week after, so you should be done with NVC by April 13, if no checklists.

I should go to rehearsal as every saturday but there will be a crossade so the rehearsal is postponed for nex friday. I enjoyed talking to my wife all day, we had fun talking about the process, post offices, copying documents and all the other stress.

So what do you rehearse What's crossade? Talking to your wife sounds like a good thing - I enjoy talking to my husband too! Got the details all sorted out? :)

That's the common feeling around here laughing.gif It's probably the only time in your entire lives you'll actually be more than happy to give away ~$500. And to the government on top of it rofl.gif

Hi everyone,

I am now part of this group. Waiting for my paperwork to be received at NVC so they can issue a case number. I called NVC one week after my NOA2 but got the standard line of call back in 20 business days. I am sure he didn't look on the system. This prompts my question, what do you say when you call the NVC to chase your case number? As soon as the operator heard I had an NOA2 date on 22nd March he didn't bother entering my reciept number into the system.

Also, Laure thanks for posting about the change in fees but I cannot work out what that $330 USD fee is for. I thought I had two fees left to pay, AOS fee of $88 and IV fee of $404. Can you shed some light?

Thanks

Hi again all,

I just picked up a letter from the US embassy here in Kuwait (husband has to get a letter from embassy in order to request a police certificate from local authority).

The letter casually mentioned at the very end that all applicants have to get a police clearance from places they have lived in for 6 months or more. However, we've been going by what the NVC website says (click here for the link, then scroll down).

The NVC website says applicant needs a police clearance from every country lived in for 12 months, not 6 months. Am I missing something here?

My husband traveled around Canada for 7 months, and we hadn't planned on obtaining a Canadian police clearance.

Can anyone advise?

Thank you!!
