What was wrong with your son's i864w? And how many days did it take them to review the new form?

Actually we sent I-864ez for our son... that's why we got a checklist because I-864w was the proper form to be filled out. From the time we resent the I864 to the time we got his interview letter it took about 17 days. We didn't know then that we could call NVC to follow up on his case.

I just sent the IV packet off and I realized that I sent the wrong PCC (the argentina PCC requires a statement about non articulo 51 or something like that).

I'm flying to Bs As to get the correct PCC.

My question is, what is the best way to get this updated version to NVC so I'm not dealing with a time consuming RFE? They probably haven't even received my IV packet yet.

Thanks!

It might be best to just wait for the checklist. Don't just send the correct PCC to them as it might confuse them and delay your case. Who knows, they might not even notice your mistake and accept the IV package. I've seen this happen before.

Agree with what Saylin wrote. If you don't get a checklist and an interview is scheduled, bring the updated version to the interview.

Everyone moves to the new thread and stays together. :) So no matter what happened, you get to move to this thread. It's not like the I-130 threads.
