Same here..I have all the package ready to go, just need the barcode.

I sent my email on 5/9.

Any idea how long I would have to wait still to get this accepted?

It's taking anywhere from a few days to a week or so. You'll probably get a response next week sometime.

Saylin, I can't get a hold of my husband as of the moment so here are the things I sent for my IV package as far as I can remember.

1. 3 pcs of 2x2 pics

2. biographical page of my passport and the relative accompanying me

3. marriage certificate original and photocopy

4. birth certificate original and photocopy and the birth cert of the relative accompanying me

5. Police clearance orig and photocopy (since the last 2 years of residency at this certain province here in the Phils)

6. NBI clearance (for the Philippines) orig and photocopy

7. DS-230 1st part signed, 2nd part unsigned

8. IV barcoded sheet

9. cover sheet (c/o husband)

When I sent my IV package to my husband I didn't know I have to have CEMAR (advisory on marriage...a proof that I've been married only once)...I got one already...was supposed to send it to my husband but I think I can just show that at the interview since I dont want to spend for fedex. I read that that's one of the basic reasons for 221g here in the Philippines.

The other additional document (which I will need to acquire before the interview) not included in my IV package is the police clearance from where I lived for 26 years. Not really sure if they are asking for the police clearance at my present residence or my previous one...

Only 2 passport pictures are nice. You can tell your husband to frame the other one and put it on his desk :P

And yeah, I believe the CEMAR is needed for the interview, not the IV package. I'm sure someone's asked about this in the Philippines sub-forum.

For police certificates, NVC is asking for ones since you were 16, so to me, it sounds like you'd need that one too.

Hahaha! I don't think so! I don't look good on that photo to deserve a space on his desk. kidding. :-D I actually sent 3 just in case NVC loses one. :innocent:

Do you think I will be fine if I show the other police clearance at the interview? And I'm still lost in this site I don't know where the sub-forums are. Been trying to stare at the homepage but couldn't find a clue where it is.

I'd suggest having your husband write up a little note to include in the IV package requesting that the other police certificate be allowed to be brought to the interview. Do you know when you're getting the other PCC?

I'm not sure. Your best bet would be to call them and ask.

Yeah, I think for India, it's the average of 2 months from case complete to interview date, so I'm thinking he'll have his interview in July. Unless you finish with NVC real fast and then get lucky for a late June date.
