I would suggest calling up NVC and requesting to speak with an supervisor. Explain what happened between you and Sydney (getting an expedite of sorts) and ask when your case is being sent over to Australia. Tell them you'll be paying the fees and sending the packages directly to Sydney, not NVC.

Does Sydney have a number you can call? If so, do it, and see what they say. Maybe even calling DOS would help.

Thanks for your help on this - no phone numbers for Sydney unfortunately, and I was ready to call up the NVC this morning and ask for a supervisor, but I finally heard back from both the consulate and the NVC overnight, and our package is on its way to Sydney. Phew!

While looking for how long this would take I found the DHL hack and found my package... very cool!

Hi VJers,

Just got received an email that they received DS 3032 already. But when we're about to pay AOS in line it says that:

"You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."

So how's that? Does anyone of you had encountered the same thing as us?

Please let me know. Thanks!

First off, do not post your exact same question twice, within 30 minutes. Just post once.

Not sure why you're mentioning the DS-3032 and AOS together as they have nothing to do with one another. The IV and AOS are separate tracks at NVC.

As for the payment portal, if you've read previous posts in here and in the May thread, you'd see that NVC is currently having issues invoicing bills. Many people have heard from operators saying they're working on it and should be back to normal by tomorrow, at the latest this Friday.

Thanks for your help on this - no phone numbers for Sydney unfortunately, and I was ready to call up the NVC this morning and ask for a supervisor, but I finally heard back from both the consulate and the NVC overnight, and our package is on its way to Sydney. Phew!

While looking for how long this would take I found the DHL hack and found my package... very cool!

Glad it worked out in the end! :)

I'd suggest calling up DOS once you see the package has arrived on DHL to confirm that it's arrived at Sydney.

Oh sorry for that and haven't read yet other people talking about that. I gotta browse though. Thanks for the info. :)

Hello i really got big trouble with my IV application processing fees. almost one month and the nvc has not generated yet. i call so many time but no solution. so i decided to pay by mail. so i need advice about how to do it, if someone has already experienced this, it would be very helpful. i have just three question: where to send the money and where to send the document or do i have to send the money and the document in the same package? i already got the IV application invoice attached by email from nvc.

NOA2 April 12th, still no NVC #. Wondering if this is normal, or only one not getting NVC #?

Got mine exactly after a month. NOA 2 was 3/23 and NVC received on 4/23.

NOA2 April 12th, still no NVC #. Wondering if this is normal, or only one not getting NVC #?

Don't expect to get a case number for another 2 weeks or so. NVC is currently taking around 4+ weeks to assign a case number. Check out my spreadsheet for others' timeframes.

We still don't have our case numbers. We were approved April 5th, and NVC received our files April 23rd.

You'll probably get yours within the next week or two as it's currently taking around a month to get a case number.

Wish more people report their timeline to your spreadsheet!

I just take people from these monthly NVC threads.
