I'm thinking it will still be another 2 weeks for your case. Looking at my spreadsheet, no NOA2 dates of April have been assigned a case number yet. Based off the data, NVC is assigning case numbers with NOA2 dates of late March.

I Just used LingChe ShortCut to track my case from NVC TO EMBASSY, it works great! Guaranteed delivered on Monday April 30th to US Consulate in Hong Hong! Yes it works

There's no guarantee YOUR case is in that package heading to Hong Kong (unless you got a tracking number from an operator), but it IS highly likely that it is in there. I'd suggest calling up DOS late Monday or Tuesday to confirm it's arrived safely.

Don't forget - keep calling DoS Hotline every few days now, inquiring of casefile status. The appointment date isn't set yet, right?

Lol, sure!!! All are welcome!!!

Now you must wait for your case to arrive at NVC from USCIS, then you'll get a case number and Invoice identification number. It seems to be taking from 3 weeks to a month to get the case number (there's a backlog at NVC lately!). You should wait a little before starting to call NVC everyday to find out about receipt of ur file and then the case number. I hope u read the first post in this thread as it contains almost all the info you'll need, but also feel free to ask questions. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy the chatter and read that first post, it really is loaded with worthwhile info and can answer most if not all of your questions.

Hi guys! I got my NVC case number and IIN day yesterday and I'm going to have to be sending out the IV packet soon. I want to know about the DS 230 that "expired" in February. Is there a new one available and where can I download it? Thank you!

I just used the February form as the new one is exactly the same and I already had it set to go. If you download a new one now it will expire on 4/30, which is two days from now. My form appears to have been approved with no problems, I imagine they aren't too picky about this. The DS-3032 they sent me expired in 2006.
