Thanks Darnell!. Looking at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/267559-usa-is-now-arizona/page__st__75, it seems I shall email "Evidence of Bona Fide Marriage" (110 pages, a softcover book made in Kinko) as PDF attachment when submitting DS-230. Shall I email in advance or just let my have it in interviewing?

The issue here, if NVC submitted Bona Fide stuff to GuangZhou, and at the same time GuangZhou got my own submission, will GuangZhou get confused as for which one to use?

email with the ds-230.

assume nothing , alas, on casefile transfer from uscis to nvc.

sometimes it makes it, sometimes not.(uscis to nvc)

guangzhou iv never gets confused on relationship evidence, fwiw.

everything submitted with the ds-230 at nvc gets put in SAFEFILE network system. GUZ IV extracts casefile from SAFEFILE.

Edited by Darnell

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Yep, two trips, and the first trip gets me home one week before I leave for the second one. Lol. I'm flying WestJet, non-stop flights :) I also have husband going all around the US to get to the interview LOL (oddly, to fly him with more stops saved us like $200...whatever, go Delta LOL).

Thanks. But I liken it to getting case number at NVC, we still have the next step to pass before we have case complete/house sale. :)

LOL that's true - house sales take a little time to close :) Still - closer now than you were Wednesday! So...woo hoo!:dance:

Congratulations gad33 on the sale of your house!   Even with closing, etc. to come, it must be a relief!

Congratulations to all other good news (case numbers, IV invoice, case complete, interview dates, etc.) to all who receive them today!

My passport application was submitted in person just after 8:30 this morning. I'll be going to pick it up by May 11, at the latest. It messed up a visit from the Hubby for next weekend (he takes the MegaBus from Pittsburgh to Detroit and I go pick him up from there) since I won't have a passport yet. We figured it was more important to get this taken care of since he'll be coming up in 3 weeks for my birthday and this was a last minute trip he didn't expect to be able to make. Now ALL of my ID will be in my married name! :luv:

Going to take a break from all this until Monday. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!! :D

Hiya guys.

Our case has been completed and we are awaiting for an interview date now =].

I'd like to thank everyone for this very helpful advice, without you guys this process would have been very difficult.

I will provide a review of how the interview in Moscow goes for future members so that it may help them out in some way =]

Grats on the case complete! kicking.gif

Hope you hear of an interview date real soon yes.gif

Woohoo!!! IV fee status shows as paid!!! Me likey, me likey!!! Post office opens at 10am...grrrr LOL

[...]

Grats! Have you mailed the IV package yet?

IV and AOS payments marked as paid in the payment portal. Now my lawyer better have the paperwork ready to send in.

I'd get on your lawyer's butt and make sure they send those packages pronto.

Good news on our front. We accepted an offer on our house last night. :) Although it feels like the visa process as the next step is property inspection.

[...]

Good news good.gifHope it doesn't take as long as this immigration process did...

Still no interview date for me and my wife. Every time I call they keep on telling me they are done scheduling for May. I told the lady today how is it that Kyiv is still handing out interviews to K1 filers for May 8-15 and yet we who are already married, have to "wait until May 14" to get scheduled for June  I just don't think that this is fair to us all who are ALREADY married. I am not taking anything away from K1 filers, but I would think and hope that couples who are married would have some sort of preference over couples that MIGHT get married. :help:

On top of that, they are able to schedule themselves an interview date, while we have to go through NVC :bonk:

Never ever ever compare yourself to a K1 case. They undergo completely different processing.

And honestly, just because you're married doesn't mean that those fiance cases don't love each other less than you do. The only difference between a fiance and a spouse is a little paper saying you're married. That's it.

I understand that they go through different processing, and I was not comparing or trying to say they love each other less, just a simple question. WHY do we get second preference when it comes to interview scheduling? WHY can't we schedule our own interviews as well? WHY do we have to hear an operator tell us to wait 2-3 weeks more to be scheduled for another month when there ARE dates available at our embassy right now. If it sounded like an attack to K1 filers, I apologize, but I am frustrated knowing that I have to wait until May 14 to be scheduled for "sometime" in June..while the embassy has dates available now...just because NVC is "done" scheduling.
