What's been the average wait time in days to receive IV bill after acceptance of DS-3032? Just got acceptance today !!

Grats! Usually, it's just been a few days, but with the fee dropping, the time frame has gotten longer.

No, NVC is going through a backlog where it's taking 4+ weeks to get a case number. NVC is currently assigning case numbers with NOA2 dates in late March.

hi Saylin :) thank you very much for the information. it's comforting to know that it's a delay and not anything seriously wrong. our notice date is April 4, 2012. so i guess we should expect a case number in the next couple of weeks.

Gad i read your montreal review.its very nice but your Co was mean.Anyway what does Loomis receipt means?Is it DHL sign up?

The consulate calls it Loomis because that is the official name but all their vans and offices still say DHL. So just another thing to confuse. The CO was not at all what I was expecting based on other's reviews of Montreal but most of you won't have the same questioning that I did because you won't have to prove domicile.

It's 10 days if you take it to a Passport Canada office personally and pick it up in person when it's ready. MUCH longer if you mail it. My neighbor was able to get hers in 5 days, so maybe I'll be that lucky too! :)

Went and got the passport pictures done, finished filling out the application and printed it, had my neighbor come over and do the guarantor portion and I am ready to take it to the passport office tomorrow morning. :thumbs:

This is the one thing that Canadian government processes quickly.

My wife and stepdaughter went to interview at GUZ. The VO was interested in her professional (in medical field), and insisted on a resume, publication list, and declaration of non-CCP membership. The VO gave them blue sheet. If we supply such info within a week, any ideas how long will it delay the visa?

I really would like them to come in the summer to prepare the kid for school. It's depressing to think it's delayed to the fall.

without ccp, 3 to 9 weeks. with ccp, 5 to 14 weeks. IMO.

I called the NVC today for a case number, but nothing :unsure: again, even after 16 business days. They told me to send them an email regarding this situation. What do you all think might be going on with this delay? Should I be worried, such as our files getting lost?

I am still waiting for a case number, they received my file on the 18th of April.... so hang in there.... :whistle:

The BRT number is your NVC case number.

The first blank is the NVC case number that is the BRT2012******

The second blank is for the invoice ID number, it is 8 random numbers with out letters.

Your wife needs to call back and get your Invoice Identification number.

Not Trinidad! A month ago, the next available appointment to do my name change would have been in July! That's why I left it as it is. I'll just have to do all that up in the USA.

Just curious, anyone who just recently received a bill get the money taken out their account yet or see a 'paid' status on the portal? I'm just waiting to send out my packet which i sealed today finally... cant wait to be done with this!!! i want a case complete!!! lol

So I just checked my checking account online and NVC took the IV fee yesterday and it's not pending, it's gone. I'm sending out my packet today... I'm hoping by the time it reaches the status would have changed. Feeling good about this. :) God willing, I'll have a case complete next week...

I'm still waiting too. Hopefully today they mark it paid. Maybe a case complete by next week for us then :)

NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

05/09/2012 - medical in Toronto - passed!
05/22/2012 - interview - passed!
05/25/2012 - visa in hand!!! biggrin.png
06/09/2012 - POE @ YWG (Winnipeg Int'l Airport)

Removal of Conditions submitted March 24, 2014, received March 26, 2014

"RFE" for page 3 of application received, date March 27, 2014. Package re-submitted with all papers re-attached.
