Reg. Standard NVC processing (no Appointment Post): What documents should be send in IV package ?

Thanks

Everything listed in the instructions. The online instructions are listed in the first post in this topic. Please to read all, click through all, there, soonish?

Should all of this documents be send to nvc ?

First post

"Generally, the following is needed:

- Bar-coded cover sheet from payment portal

- Completed, signed, and dated DS-230 form by beneficiary (do NOT sign or date part 2; this is done at the interview) [note: if doing online forms (DS-260), the DS-230 is obviously not needed]

- Two passport-style photographs (2" x 2") of beneficiary (on the back, write: beneficiary's full name, date of birth, and case number)

- Copy of bio-data page of beneficiary's unexpired passport

- Original or Certified Copy of beneficiary's birth certificate, PLUS A PHOTOCOPY

- Original or Certified Copy of marriage certificate, PLUS A PHOTOCOPY

- Original police certificate(s) "

The US Embassy in Warsaw , Poland webpage http://poland.usembassy.gov/poland/processing_uscis.html is saying:

"What do I do with the other forms?

Complete the biographic data form DS-230-I Part I, for each person applying for a visa, regardless of age. The form may be photocopied if insufficient copies are received. The completed DS-230-I should be returned to the NVC.

Review the information concerning police certificates: All applicants 16 years and over are required to furnish a police certificate (certificate of good conduct) to cover any period of residence of twelve months or more since reaching the age of sixteen; the period of residence is six months in the country of birth or current residence.

Assemble all of the relevant documents required in support of the application and forward the form DS-2001, Applicant's Declaration of Qualification for Immigrant Visa Interview, to the NVC. The other documents must not be mailed to the NVC or the Immigrant Visa Unit at the Embassy. You will be required to furnish the original and one copy of all documents on the day of the formal visa interview and medical examination at the Embassy."

So what should be send in IV package then?

Thanks

if you are certain (back at that Embassy's website) that this is for a CR-1 or IR-1, then follow those instructions exactly.

for K1 it is easier i see people receiving their NOA2, after a week or 2 their case are already at the embassy. While they keep telling us that there is no more May interview until yesterday K1's were getting May interview, there is a Haiti member that got her interview yesterday she had May 10th

I think the Haiti Calendar is jammed up still, with those humanitarian visas..

LOL, what can you do? It's the Canadian government!

Show up in person? Not leave till it's fixed? ;)

ok now please dont laught at me lolll, i just laught at myself.

So i tried to study the nvc shortcuts and i know it says ask for your Invoice ID number. But when i get it what do i do? every now and then sign into the payment portal to see if the bill is there? when to email the DS form? What's in the email that NVC is sending? OMG i feel like i just studied for my big final and im sitting in the class room and my head has gone blank .

I think i need to go back to the nvc short cut link.

Some people print this out, tape it to the wall, make tick marks for what's been done already.

Well still no case at NVC. Who do I call?

USCIS. Get a Tier 2 human (see ISO - http://www.dhs.gov/files/publications/gc_1305658440339.shtm )

then, get an ISO.

then , once you've GOTTEN an ISO (that bit was important)

ask them where the casefile is.

Be adamant about NOT setting up a service request - as this will waste further time and really isn't useful.

Instead, tell the ISO that the casefile has been approved for (x months) and there's no indication that NVC has received it, and that YOUR PRIMARY CONCERN is that it's still sitting on the adjudicators desk,

and then...

ask the ISO to send a request to the ADJUDICATOR to bundle up the casefile to go to NVC.

Then call back in 2 days, see what's what. If still no movement outta USCIS, then get an ISO again, and ask the ISO to get to the Adjudicator's Boss, telling them that the casefile was lost by the adjudicator.

Good Luck !

Congratulations to all who received great news today.

I am still waiting for my case number but I have a feeling it will be ready when I call as soon as they open.

My question is: can I nominate myself as the choice of agent on DS3032 when I email it through? I know this option is available on the hard copy form. I am the beneficiary.

Thanks

Nat

People i was just reading on the website of the US embassy in Haiti i see they said for the I-864 they need original, photocopies of siganture will not be accepted. Now i am a bit scared because i do not know if my wife mailed to NVC her I-864 and our joint sponsor's copy or original. Do you guys think the embassy is really strict about it?
