YAAAAAAAAAAy!!!! congrats!!!

Ohhh NOoo i didnt get a Invoice ID number, i asked tho and he said it's going to be in the email that they will send in a couple of days, Call back?

note* he said they were puting it into the system as we were on the phone

HALLELUJAH!!! We got our case number!! :goofy::dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :goofy:

Also asked for and got the Invoice ID # and Beneficiary ID #. Yaaaaay!!!

I knew something was different because J.R. asked for the petitioner's name and date of birth, beneficiary's name and date of birth and I hadn't been asked for that information before! Such a relief to finally have a case number and be able to start moving forward again!

Yippyyyyyy, seems like our case were in the same batch, your dates match up to mine perfectly.

Saylin, a quick question. Does your having a bad case of cold/cough affect the medicals in any way? I've less than a week for my medicals and am unwell.

It shouldn't, no. Focus on being well and on perfect health, and you'll be fine by the time your medical arrives ;)

ok now please dont laught at me lolll, i just laught at myself.

So i tried to study the nvc shortcuts and i know it says ask for your Invoice ID number. But when i get it what do i do? every now and then sign into the payment portal to see if the bill is there? when to email the DS form? What's in the email that NVC is sending? OMG i feel like i just studied for my big final and im sitting in the class room and my head has gone blank .

I think i need to go back to the nvc short cut link.

:D The invoice ID number is needed when you log into the payment portal - you can't log in without it! I think it also plays a part in the payments, too. It's pretty handy :) No worries - this process has turned my entire brain to mush so...

Well paint my face pink and call me a rose, I may have finally seen a ray of sunshine! Alicia at DoS confirmed when I asked her twice - yes, my information is all in Montreal (Geneva told me that this morning too). No date scheduled yet - she said give them about a week and by then I should have heard something. This is a little more promising...hope, hope, hope....

I feel like suck a goober loll

I called back and the Operator gave it to me after she lectured me that i cant do anything with it yet.

I loged on to the payment portal and i saw my info for AOS and IV :jest: . So this is going to keep me happy for at least the rest of the week.

Once i log in and see an Invoice for the AOS, pay it? or wait for something form NVC? Now all the info i have stored in my brain is a lil foggy from all the waiting.

LOL...you're exactly right - it's like, the second they send any file somewhere it enters the black hole and no one can find it. With all the confidential information in these files, that's a bit scary!

As long as they keep giving me consistent answers like they did today, I'm content - but would be ecstatic if it didn't take much longer :):star:
