Ya, no kidding! I'm not gonna tell Mr. Sheeshka. I'll answer skype that evening at his parent's house and see how long it takes him to figure out where I am :)

It's a little earlier than what I wanted, but I'll spend an extra few days in Winnipeg eating sushi and poutine while drinking timmy's with Shell :)

Ohh, that sounds like an awesome plan!! devil.gif

Enjoy the poutine for me ;) Can't wait to have some in June!

I've been thinking about wearing my shirt when flying to Canada in June. Wonder what the border officers would say laughing.gif

"Then why are you in Winnipeg?"

"Uh slight detour for sushi.."

I'll probably stick with my usual story, I'm here to visit family and friends for the summer.

Just stick with visiting family and friends. If they further inquire, then tell them. As I learned, don't offer anything unless they ask. Stick to the point.

And pray for a nice officer headbonk.gif

Good Luck Rujby. Soon this will be a distant memory and you'll finally be home with your wife and soon to be born daughter.

I don't think so, they had to have an interview at a USCIS office during the process. That adds a lot of time.

Trav followed that advice on his last visit when he got pulled into secondary. went like this:

"You come here a lot. That's a lot of luggage for a weekend."

"Yes, sir. I know. I am visiting family and friends."

"How much money can you access?"

"about 1500 dollars."

"Are you married?"

"Yes, sir."

"Do you live with your wife?"

"not right now, no."

"Do you drink?"

"I'm a youth pastor, sir. That's not a good idea."

"Oh yeah, guess you want to be a good example...*insert random small talk and jokes here, and insert Trav realizing his blood sugar is plummeting here as well*"

"Yes, I try to be a good example."

"Enjoy your visit!"

*insert happy tearful hug by me and Trav looking at the guards apprehensively*

..."Shell, hug me when I've got a doughnut and we're outside. I have a story for you..."

I have fantastic news...well for me anyway

My uncle has credit card bonus ####### he has to use up with Discover, there's nothing he can use it for, or wants but it gives miles for United Airlines.. and he has enough I can get a ticket to winnipeg for $30, but it HAS to be before May 11th. So tomorrow I'm booking my ticket to sunny (maybe) Manitoba :)

NICE!!! :)

Email sent to congress, with Trav and his mom copied. I'm SO tired. We'll see what they come back with.
