Thanks Dimples. It was sent on 03/30/2012.

No doubt you will have an interview date before me!

It is noteworthy to mention that I did not list dates of ALL previous visits to the USA (i.e. question 35). I indicated the last two visits and on the 3rd line I wrote " Visited at least twice per year for the past 15 years".

I hope they were not expecting all!!! I listed the last 3....Hopefully everything goes smoothe with my IV packet! O we both could have our interview date the end of this week.......at least we can hope :hehe:

I guess they weren't expecting all as my IV package was approved with only two dates as mentioned. Your interview will be before mine because the AOS pkg. was just sent on Friday via snail mail from the USA. Do you know when they will receive the pkg.? Thanks

Question... do you guys think it's best to schedule the medical now, while we're waiting for the interview date?

Months ago we were told that it's wise to wait until the consulate receives your file (so after the interview is scheduled) so that have a file to match up with your medical results when they receive them.

On the other hand, I think I've heard elsewhere that as soon as you have an NVC case number, the consulate should be already set up to receive your medical results. Furthermore, if you discover your interview is scheduled only two weeks in advance, you may not be able to complete the medical in time if you wait to schedule it until after the interview date is set.

What do you guys think?

Yay! NVC listened. It's like Christmas!!

Dear Sir/Madam:

You have been registered as agent for the immigrant visa petition of SHEESHKA. The

Immigrant Visa Processing Fee for each applicant indicated on the enclosed fee bill invoice(s) must be paid

before petition processing can continue. An invoice for each eligible applicant is enclosed.

I checked the payment portal and 'sho 'nuf there's our Invoice! YAY! It's been paid, and barcode sheet attached to the package.

Ms. Saylin Spreadsheet Sensi Superhero, and anyone else who wants to chime in,

Before I send in the IV package after I show as paid in the next few days, please take a look at my IV package and put your stamp of approval:

Please find enclosed the following items of supporting documents for the DS-260 packet.

- Barcode Cover Sheet

• Two (2) Passport Size Photographs of Beneficiary (NVC Case Number, beneficiary’s name,

and date written on back of both)

• Copy of the Biographic Data Pages of Beneficiary’s Passport

• Copy of Certified Birth Certificate of Beneficiary from the Province of Manitoba

• Copy Certified Marriage Certificate from the Province of Alberta

• Copy of Police Clearance Certificate (Canada) for Beneficiary

All documents submitted are exact unaltered photocopies of orignals. I understand I will be required

to submit original documents to a consular official at a later date. Please do not hesitate to contact

me if there are any concerns. My contact information is available below.

Yay, grats! kicking.gifkicking.gif

And it's Mrs by the way :Plaughing.gif

And your IV package looks good good.gif

After a 15 minute wait for NVC, operator Aiden took my USCIS receipt #, then without me saying anything, he began by asking for beneficiary's name and DOB (so I thought, hmm, that's new) then my name and DOB and finally both email addresses... Then I asked if there was a case # and IIN available and I got a yes... FINALLY!!! Woot woot!!!

:dance::dance::dance:

Grats! kicking.gif

IV package accepted. Awaiting decision on AOS package.  Hoping for CC early next week.......

You'll get a CC this week ;)

So apparently my AOS invoice broke the system and now I have a supervisor reviewing my file to see why the invoice won't generate. Great. Sounds about right - I broke it. LOL. Wait a sec....didn't someone gum up the works with their package last month??? :hehe:

That was Foobaz. We're blaming him for all slowdowns at NVC with his huge package he sent to them laughing.gif

Siighhh... I want the interview date already! Does anybody know why calling the DOS number is useful (i.e. on page 1 of this thread)? Does DOS have different information than NVC?

Fingers crossed for an interview in early May so he can be here for our anniversary on June 3rd!

NVC can only see the information from NVC. DOS on the other hand has access to both NVC's information as well as the consulate/embassy's. So, no, they really don't have any different information but the reason to call them is just for an extra source to find out if an interview date has been assigned.

I have a question my friends, who should I keep calling about my interview date, DOS or NVC? I can t make the difference in their role?

Call both! That's what I did every single day. See my response to nica above for more information on DOS.

I say not to send it until the AOS Fee bill shows up in the Petitioners Email InBox.

By that time? NVC has 'turned on the switch' and is ready to 'listen' for things at the email inbox over at nvcinquiry@state.gov.

Just my 2 cents, based on observational stuff here for the last 18 months.

Guess I'll wait for that AOS bill via email before i email the DS3032... can't wait to be done with all this
