So they are in different sections. :)

At Vancouver they separated everyone up while still outside, before going through security. People I saw for other visas, I never saw again after that lol. So my theory is they go to a completely different place. (or something in the basement ate them)

I vote for that option - and that's funny! Giggling at my desk now :)

Yeah, different sections, but same floor.

For Montreal, you were let in one by one (doesn't matter for what visa), then pointed down to the basement. Before being let on the elevator, the guard asked for just those for immigrant visa interviews. So, that's when they "separate" the visas, of sorts. But, in the end, everyone (as far as I know) ended up going to the same floor.

You'll see for yourself soon :)

I vote for that option - and that's funny! Giggling at my desk now :)

Let's hope that won't be the same for Montreal. Since after passing through security, you go down to the basement :P

laughing.gif At least you will have someone to hold onto! :P I was the first one down into the basement and was all alone laughing.gif

And there's no creepy furnaces (unless they've installed one since last May :P ). As for creepy staircases, it is a really long staircase down to the basement. Hold Trav's hand while going down yes.gif

Sure, I'm afraid of my husband bolting anyway, that way he'll have to get past you :P

when he proposed to me, he didn't give me a ring. (he was broke at the time) when I did get my ring he put it on my finger and said "I'm not asking you again, you said yes the first time, I'm not giving you a chance to change your mind" Like I was going to!

If I remember correctly, it's not narrow at all, but very wide. Like 5 people across wide.

I believe they have a rail, yes. Again, this is all going off what I remember, which was a year ago, and I wasn't really paying attention to if there was a railing or not laughing.gif

Do i need to wait for my AOS payment to show PAID before sending the package out? I have the cover sheet printed out already. Please advise.

Thank you.

Some people have sent it before the payment shows up as paid and have not had any issues.

It is suggested to wait until it shows paid to avoid having any delays and confusion with your file.

Thank you.

Wait until it shows PAID in case there's an error with the payment.

While you're waiting, review the AOS package a couple of times and make sure everything that's required is included. Have someone else review the I-864 and verify that all lines are filled out correctly, everything is signed and dated.
