Quick question you guys, how long does it take for the NVC to acknowledge the DS-3032 email?

I sent mine on April 3rd and received an acceptance on April 6th.

Hubby is going on Monday for the medical since the interview date is the 7th (2 weeks prior the interview)- we did not want to do it too soon or too close to the interview date.

Ah, gotcha I did mine a month in advance, in case there were any problems (plus I wanted to get it over with).

The NVC schedules the appointment. However the embassy sends over the available dates to NVC.

Saylin- well DR consulate is very "special" and tend to always loose something or be lost themselves so I told hubby to go closer to the date so that there is no confusion about his results hanging around too long to get lost since now the medical is given directly to the consulate not the beneficiary...DR is a hot mess

Ohh, the results are sent directly there. Yeah, if that was the case for Montreal, I probably would have the done the same thing. Less days for them to misplace it. Good idea on your part for doing it closer to the date

Wow. Called DoS again, to see if Anna was lying. Reached Samantha - an uninterested, bored, tired, annoyed girl who refused to listen and rattled off exactly what Anna did. Hung up, started to think they were right, got upset.

Waited half hour, then called again. Reached Anna twice (hung up on her two times without a word - felt AWESOME!!), then talked to Nicole. I told her I was confused and needed a clear answer. She gave me a clear answer - but still couldn't give a date. Oh well, at least we've got clarity before the weekend!
