NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

I talked to Bob today. He was very nice and helpful. He said that there has been recently a large influx of cases. He said it should be in the building and give us a little bit more time till middle of next week. He said I should also email the nvc and ask where my case is so that they can ensure it has been received.

Nothing new, but at least spoke to a nice person.

That would explain why the time frame between NOA2 and case number assigned is increasing...

I am not able to pay online since my attorney is my agent... so I'm just waiting on news from her about if she has got the invoice yet. Would I be able to call the NVC and be able to see if she has received the invoice yet? I've heard nothing from her, but I want to make sure the process goes as fast as possible.

Even though you have an attorney that will pay the bills, you can still log onto the payment portal and check if the bills have been invoiced (and paid for).

Called DoS and got a real bubble head, Carla.

First she flubbed up her opening line, that's ok, we all have off days. Then she put our case number in wrong, twice.

Then she says "This case is still at the NVC, they haven't forwarded it to Montreal yet, you won't get an appointment until then. You paid all your fees?"

"Uh they don't forward the case to Montreal until an interview date has been set. You would know before NVC."

"Oh, well, you have to wait on package four"

"CR-1 doesn't get package four until the interview has been assigned."

"Oh"

"Have a great day Carla"

hello everyone , do you know about the timeframe to receive the file from uscis

Nvc Still did not hear about my case file since my date of approval april 02

what shall i do ??? Is this normal ...

i saw others timeline ,,,, one week or 10 days already with case number !!!!!!

today is 03 weeks ....i called nvc but in vain ...

What's going on ...??? pLEASE HELP .

Your time frame is fine. NVC is currently working on NOA2 dates from mid to late March. Look at my NVC spreadsheet in my signature to see other cases.

Quick question you guys, how long does it take for the NVC to acknowledge the DS-3032 email?

Currently, a few days to a week or so.

I have not heard anything about my DS-3032 and it's been six days already... Argh! Frustrating. I did get the auto reply so I know they've received it, it's just taking forever :(

Try sending it again. Sometimes even the electronic stuff gets lost.
