LOL you're very welcome...glad you feel complete! Yeah, I buy him grinds because I was the one responsible for getting him hooked on Tim Horton's when he was here. Sort of feels right that I should keep him hooked up with the coffee, lol. We'll get an interview soon, the embassy is apparently reviewing our case as of yesterday (and I'd guess Monday too), so we'll see. No, they don't rush - and why should they feel they have to? It doesn't affect their lives any...sad but true. This whole process is one giant waiting game - there's always something to wait for, we're never done...but good for her getting the medical done! One more step closer! Your interview's in less than a month...that's exciting

i do not know for the other embassies but for haiti they usually ask receipt of western union. can i PM you please i have a scenario that i would like to have your opinion on...

We do phoning instead ( textt message and phone calls ), i do not know how many pages i will have to extract as call records to submit to the embassy. at USCIS we submitted 127 pages

Have anyone had a problem with calling the NVC this morning, I tried phoning and their phone wouldn't even ring , so I thought it was my phone so I tried to contact someone else and the phone worked fine, then I called back to the NVc and the phone sounds like its dead, I've think that they've blocked my number lol

I just tried to see if I could get through and the same thing happened. Didn't ring at all, just dead air like it's not connecting.

I notice that others are now able to pay the $230 online. When I log into up the payment portal I am still unable to pay the IV fee , it still says total amount: $0. I called NVC and the operator said it takes 10-15 days to resolve? Is this true. It seems like 10-15 days is their answer to everything. I don't know what to do at this point, I'm already behind schedule as I was invoiced for the iv bill last month. I didn't have the funds then. Now I am able to pay I can't pay it. Should I send the payment in by snail mail or would this further delay my case?

I think they sit in corners, rocking back and forth and chanting "10-15 days...10-15 days"...I think it helps numb their minds! In any case, do not snail mail the payment. You will cause problems. Wait for the invoice to come to your email.

Mine was submitted last Thursday and tuesday i was informed by an operator that it has been denied. So we inform them additional evidence will be submitted today so they can keep opened our request and reconsider their decision

I found out by calling a couple times a day and asking the status of my expedite request. After about 9-10 days, I confirmed with three operators that it was approved. One day later, they sent us an official letter that Trav just received yesterday.
