LOL...now I've got "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" songs in my head...I've got a golden ticket... :P:whistle:

Omg, now I have that song in my head!

Thanks Saylin,

Do you know the best way to request a Expedite for a May Interview?

Email NVC?

Send a letter to NVC?

Call and ask?

Email them, with 'ATTN: Supervisor Sue' in the subject line, and your case number behind that. Include all the regular info in the body (both names, both DOBs, both email addresses).

Trav will definitely help you out with the vicarious doughnut eating :D I may be too nervous to eat, but he can always pack away some randomly disgusting amount of food! :P and your pink hair was awesome - if you were interviewing in Winnipeg, your hair would have been nothing unusual for downtown :D

Now...ok now it's time to map how to get the best elevator spot. back left - so that's based on how it is when you get in, right? You walk straight to the back, left corner?

Jeez! Did you manage to get back to sleep after that?

Yeah, I didn't eat anything the morning of my interview as well. I was feeling so nauseous.

I know, I loved my pink hair :D I'm thinking of getting pink highlights done while I'm visiting Canada in June (since the salon I used to go to had color that lasted months, compared to the dye I got here in town that only lasted 2-3 weeks sad.gif). I would go for all-pink again, but that'd be costly at a salon. Unless somewhere here wants to pay for it devil.gif

For the coveted elevator spot, check out this thread I created: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/359761-montreal-consulate-picturesmaps/page__p__5252525#entry5252525

Study the inside ones while you're waiting for the doors to open ;) It's extremely important to get the closest seat to the elevator, and when you're heading in, keeping walking to the back and to the left yes.gif

I sent you two links on Facebook of my previous pink highlights ;) My hair is so boring without color headbonk.giflaughing.gif

It means, the embassy rejected your first expedite, so your case was NOT sent to the embassy.

Your case is still at NVC and NVC needs the second expedite request. They then forward it to the embassy. The embassy then has the final decision.

IF your expedite request is granted by the embassy, THEN your case is sent to them.

Ok but that is not how I see it. What I see is that the embassy has never been aware of any expedite request sent by us and that all expedite are analyzed by nvc and they also make the final decision and send ur case to the embassy if u got approve ( by nvc) and have the embassy squeeze u into a close date.
