I'm so sick of the Immigration Limbo... just wish we knew SOMETHING!! I'd like to get a job, but I don't want to get one, just to tell them 'oh I have to go to Canada for three weeks' I could stay home, but I miss Mr. Sheeshka very very much.

There's a reason why I stay in these NVC threads besides helping people. They're so much fun! I'm just sitting here (at home, thankfully) giggling to myself.

I LOVE when people get having fun with things wherever they are (even though sometimes I'm mrs grumpy pants myself). This is a FUN group of people :D

I'm so sick of the Immigration Limbo... just wish we knew SOMETHING!! I'd like to get a job, but I don't want to get one, just to tell them 'oh I have to go to Canada for three weeks' I could stay home, but I miss Mr. Sheeshka very very much.

:( HUG!!!! Immigration limbo sucks, and I'm sorry but I've got the starts of back arthritis (metaphorically speaking, thanks to this process)...can't bend that way much longer - how about you?

For all of my fellow VJ Friends currently in the process of "waiting for something" cheer up and remember that this entire process is a "WAITING GAME" ... you are either waiting for you NOA2, your NVC case # ,acceptance of DS-3032, AOS or IV Bill, Case review, Case Close, Assignment of Interview Date, or Waiting for the actual Interview Date, OR Waiting for POE.

So at any freaking stage you're always waiting for something, so if you think of this as part of the process and prepare yourself mentally to "Wait" you could save yourself some extra gray hair and anxiety along the way :girlwerewolf2xn:

We got ours a month after the email and text message! I think you can call USCIS and they will mail another one if it's been over 30 days.

We got ours a month after the email and text message! I think you can call USCIS and they will mail another one if it's been over 30 days.

Just wanted a clarification. On the NVC Shortcut is said that operator no longer provides the Invoice #. We just got our case # today. I had forgot to ask them if they generated the Invoice. The operator did take down our email addresses. If I call back is it possible to get a Invoice # to pay the AOS fee?, or do we have to wait for them to email us the Invoice #?
