Wow, 25 pages in already and there has only been one business day in April so far!

NVC received our IV packets today. Hoping for CC in the next day or two.

Does every Embassy/Consulate website post interview schedules? I saw a link to an interview schedule for India in the March thread but can't find it when I look on the Santiago, Chile Embassy website.

06/10/11 - Married

USCIS: (224 days)

07/22/11 - Mailed I-130 petitions for wife and step-daughter

07/28/11 - NOA1 for both

02/21/12 - RFE for both (received hardcopy on 2/25)

02/28/12 - Responded to RFE for both(received by CSC on 2/29)

03/02/12 - NOA2 for both(received hardcopy on 3/8)

NVC: (37 days)

03/12/12 - NVC Received both

03/21/12 - NVC case number and IIN received for both & Emailed Choice of Agent for both

03/23/12 - AOS bill invoiced & paid for both

03/26/12 - AOS bill shows paid & AOS Packets mailed for both

03/27/12 - Choice of Agent accepted for wife (sent another for step-daughter via email and express mail)

03/28/12 - Choice of Agent accepted for step-daughter & IV bill invoiced & paid for wife

04/18/12 - Expedite request approved for both cases and sent to Santiago Embassy

04/25/12 - Wife went to Embassy for document review. Interview date assigned for both cases.

04/26/12 - Medical Exam for both. Result - approved.

05/07/12 - Interview date for both. Result - approved!

05/09/12 - Received both Visas

Nvc gotta be getting lots of calls right now, I don't even get the "welcome you might be waiting 5 min or more" I only get a busy signal :blink:

And I really wanted to talk to them before I go to bed... :huh:

Do you want to share us why did you get the checklist on PCC? i thought u had your case complete by now.

Don't worry it doesn't apply to typical case. NVC gave Checklist for not having PCC from passport office. My situation is that it does not apply to my beneficiary since the beneficiary is a non-indian, residing in India, so the beneficiary does not have Indian Passport, only "Identity card" so therefore only PCC given is by Local district Police Station to the beneficiary. So we emailed NVC with explanation and they are still reviewing it.

"Non-Indian immigrant visa applicants residing in India should obtain police certificates from the district police station serving their area of residence."

The frustrating :( part is that this Checklist should not have come up because if the reviewer actually paid attention, they would have realized this, We even put a special note on the local PCC. Now looks like this unnecessary checklist will cost us extra 2 weeks of delay. :crying:

Well, you just click the 'Multi Quote' button under which posts you want to reply to. Once you've got them all clicked (they turn a different color), then you click the 'Add Reply' button at the bottom of the page, underneath the last post of that page. It'll then bring you to the editor, as if you hit reply, but it'll have all the quotes.

No, only certain ones post their schedule. Paraguay doesn't either, it's frustrating.

Calling right when they open or right before they close usually gets me through right away. I don't know what time that would be for you though so that may not work :bonk:

I usually try to call them when they open, but I talked to them pretty late on friday so not much would probably have happend had I called then. I'm gonna give them one more try for today....

They told you april is full?

No,Rujby,they haven`t specifically told me that April was full.I got CC on March 9th.When I called on the 12(following Monday)they said they were done scheduling ,wait till April.Of course,being a good VJer I listened to them and called every day or so.Still calling :wacko: That`s fine,I know it ll come soon!As well as yours and all others !

Thanks God ,I am not in Ghana then!It is just I think all my patience dissapeared while waiting for NOA2 for 10 months...
