Have you gotten an email acceptance yet? Or did the operator mention it was accepted?

No, no email yet. We did receive an auto reply email when it was sent but that was it. I guess maybe Monday something will happen :)

Yeah, you should be getting a reply to your DS-3032 soon. Once it is accepted, it's then just a few days after that the IV bill is invoiced. Not like you're missing much at the moment as new fees were implemented today and doesn't seem like anyone got these invoices yet.

all *this* week? alas, NVC has stopped the invoicing for IV fees for *this* week, releasing them all after the 13th,

as

there's a rate drop, and NVC wanted you to benefit from a drop in the IV fee.

Have another look on Monday, aye?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

if you are using the FORM, then yes, you need to sign it. which means you need to print it out, sign it, scan it back in , make a pdf.

OTOH, there is an EMAIL TEMPLATE, listed in Post #1 here,

that

is a different thing - it's not THE FORM at all, it's solely the FORM data, put into the BODY of an EMAIL (NO FILE ATTACHMENT), ascii text.

Can review post #1, find the link for the DS-3032 email template, soonish?

Good Luck ! (ASCII ROCKS - get some today? )

Yes, I'm well aware of that. I meant that I took a break from NVC *this* week as I was patiently awaiting the release of invoices i thought would come on Friday... When I called NVC yesterday, they said I should get the invoice early next week...

Random question for you guys... I know this is the NVC thread, but is there a way for me to be certain that the consulate received my application from NVC (short of paying an exorbitive fee to call the consulate's number)? Would DOS know? I've heard of people having their file lost in transit, so I want to find out as soon as possible if there's a problem!

DoS Hotline knows.

timeticks that DoS Will have (in chronological order):

1. appointment date set

2. casefile received at IV unit (sometimes)

3. casefile opened (big big big deal, here)

4. Interview Date Results

5. Visa Packet Sent

6. Status of AP

So when you call in to the DoS Hotline, and inquire about the status of the casefile, listen for one of the above. Then you can figure out 'where you are'.

Good Luck !

Excellent ! I dunno, someone pushed the button at NVC, or still has to push to button at NVC, to make 'all' of those new IV bills show up. If they didn't push it late Friday night - then it'll get pushed by Monday morning.

Hang in there !!
