Being pregnant has its advantages it saved me a few bucks. Didn't have to do the xray and I wont have to do it later on either. I spent the money on a new lego set for my son instead. In all the medical exam took about 45 for the both of us together. Now it's just the interview left! :-D

Yes definitely that is what i am going to remind her. I told her that last night over the phone, i am waiting for her to wake up, as she is off, and go to their office. I am going to call them now, to tell them that the request is already under review and that would not like a negative decision is taken before their involvement

Oh good! She's off - she can sleep a bit longer, make sure she's feeling pretty good, and then go and get it done this morning. I'm really hopeful for you two - really hope they can get this done for you!

I just calll them, they did not take any information from me and started saying their system are down and they are not able to view any case on the system and they can only answer general questions. So i started asking her that i was sent an email by NVC saying that my expedite request is currently under review. She said that it has been forwarded to the embassy in my country and the final decision will come from them!

For me, the site says:

The system will not be available between 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 12 and 11:30 a.m. EST on Friday, April 13, due to scheduled maintenance. If you are unable to use the system during these hours, please try again later.

So, I'm going to wait another couple of hours and then try to log in.

It's now 9:20 EDT... so two hours and 10 minutes to wait.

I imagine the payment change thing has messed with computers for all of NVC and we're just going to have to wait on them to come back up.

I was just talking to the person dealing with Immigration cases at the Senator's office, she told me she sees that the letter has not weight and that the doctor should be more specific about the High risk pregnancy he wrote in the letter. I knew there was soemthing wrong with that letter, it does not have weight, i doubt that the embassy approve it. I am waiting for my wife to wake up so i can have her call her doctor so that they can be more specific. After i will see if i can send it via email today. I hope they will take it into account :unsure:

I also told her to get a copy of all the medical information from the doctor, she forgot to as she was under pressure when they were making some tests on the baby. :(

Be easy on her - sometimes the hormones in pregnant women make you forget things! My sisters all could barely be trusted to remember their own NAMES, I swear! (Ok I'm kidding there, but I hope you get my point - pregnancy makes you do silly things). Talk calmly with her this morning, and get her to make a list of what she needs from the doctor - that way she can get exactly what she needs just by handing him the list! And make sure she writes on her list, that she needs to take the letter to the senator's office right away!

Well still no case number. I called today and Frank said that it could take 5 to 7 weeks for us to have any record of it. :angry:

Today marks 15 business days, still no number. Yesterday I tried calling USCIS and they transfered me to some supervisor but I was on hold for 30 minutes before I decided to call it quits.

Today marks 15 business days, still no number. Yesterday I tried calling USCIS and they transfered me to some supervisor but I was on hold for 30 minutes before I decided to call it quits.

So Frustrated!

Oh no, you got Frankbot. He can put his arm back on...you can't. He can also read a script really well - or not! You should be getting it soon - it took us about 15 business days to get a number. :(

11/05/2014 - APPROVED! Citizenship in 5 months!

11/10/2014 - NOA2 in hand.

11/20/2014 - 10 yr GC in hand! :D
