i duged deep for the same question and i found one person in AP after there interview from Trinidad. It was some issue with the benificiary being married before here it is http://www.visajourn...gible-for-visa/

Can we email DS-3032 after we get the case # from NVC or do we have to wait till beneficiary atleast gets that letter in the mail?

You can email it as soon as you get a case number.

This will vary by consulate/embassy. Some are a few days, others a few weeks. You'll have to look in the South America regional thread for a specific question like that.

Hi Saylin, just was wondering if you could add a column to your spreadsheet that says the date Case # was received. As you know few people might also want to calculate and see when they can expect to get their case #. Just a suggestion not sure if it should be implemented.

Hi Saylin, just was wondering if you could add a column to your spreadsheet that says the date Case # was received. As you know few people might also want to calculate and see when they can expect to get their case #. Just a suggestion not sure if it should be implemented.

There is a column on my spreadsheet for that It's called NVC Received with a star next to it. Read the note for it

I was so excited to see I had an email from the NVC earlier today, I thought it was the interview date information, but it was just a checklist email that confirmed that they received the document they had previously requested. I decided to call NVC to see if the interview had been scheduled yet, but no luck as of now. Maybe tomorrow

Thanks everyone! That was SUCH a fantastic call. I just had this... feeling, this URGE to call NVC. OK, I know that's actually quite normal LOL. But anyway, I called and Jim answered. After giving him all the security info, I said: "I'd like to know whether you have received my DS-230 packet."

He said: "We completed your case."

I was struck dumb, so he filled in the silence: "Literally 10 seconds ago, we completed your case!"

Found my voice again. "So you mean the next step is to schedule my interview?"

And he responded that they'll schedule the interview with the embassy in Kingston and email both myself and the Petitioner.

I'm SO, SO, SO, SO thankful to the Lord. Look at my signature: my case was completed on the 1-month anniversary of it being received at NVC.

My husband says: "Hooray for VisaJourney!!!"

Nvc just write us, they said our request is under review and they will notify us the results once it is known

I believe you have to call. I had to for mine at Medisys in Montreal.
