Awesome!!! I just wished u saw it before going to bed last night. It would've lifted your spirits a little. I know I slept happier. :)

congrats on your PAID AOS....glad to see some movement.

i have called four time to nvc to give my email to the case of my son and they tell me that my husband has to call them and give it by himself . Does my husband have to call them then? (I am the beneficiary) :help:

Not really....as long as you verify names and DOBs, you should be fine. just call again and don't mention that you're the either the beneficiary or the petitioner.

That is incorrect, they always allow expedite cases to have an extra interview slot. Secondly, K1 interviews are under different scheduling frames and are handled by Embassies. Basically if your request got approved you'll get an interview in May.

Ok i will see what will happen, can not wait to be on wednesday

If you are approved for an expedite they could schedule your interview for just a few weeks away or less. If you feel like you qualify for an expedite then submit the request.

It's possible that Haiti has a long queue for family based visa petitions awaiting an interview at the Embassy. This may explain why they can't guarantee you a May or June interview.

Did you hear back from them yet?

Hi All!

Emily and I have had some great news in the past week. She's pregnant...with twins!!:blink: It's safe to say that I am as excited and as scared as I have ever been. Our interview is scheduled in London for May 29th at the moment, and obviously we'd like to be together as quickly as possible. So questions...1)I know pregnancy doesn't qualify you for an expedite, but does twins change this? And 2) Is it even possible to expedite when an interview has been set, and how would I go about doing this...via NVC or the Embassy now?

Dan

Congrats on the twins :) I'd say call the Embassy to see what they might be willing to do for you guys.

Congrats on the twins!!

You are right that a pregnancy is not a valid reason for an expedite, but I did manage to expedite my case on only personal reasons, pregnancy was one of them. I just wrote down from my heart why I think I should be expedited hoping that someone with a heart would read it. And apparently someone did, both at nvc who forwarded the letter and at the embassy cause 2 days after I emaild my request for an expedite I had my interview date. It seems to me that the NVC is not as hard with their expedite as the uscis so it it def worth a try!

Good morning people, how was ur night? Mine was good. Who is going to be the first to call nvc today?

Good that you had a good night. I'm on strike from calling NVC for a couple days - last time I called, I yelled at the operator named Riley and had to actually count something for her. So...if you call, I will pray!

Yeah I figured I won't give up on calling. NVC operator told me they will be done scheduling this week or by early next. I have decided to be proactive and started gathering and printing excessive evidence.
