The last thing I said to my husband before he went into customs at the airport was, "the next time I see you, I'm moving in." I laughed after and as I walked away. I tried my best not to look back at him, but I had to... just as he looked back at me. Brutal.

Whenever I flew back from seeing him, by the time I was at my gate he'd be texting me from the car saying being alone in it feels weird. And that coming back to an empty home and bed was even worse.

It's heart breaking at the time, but I've found over the years that it's just the recovery period which quickens. I miss him like crazy lately, because everything is so close yet so far :unsure:

I understand completely. My husband's taken to sending happy texts only...but the second I hear "I'm home", and I know that I'm not there with him, I'm all busted up inside. Gotta develop a thicker skin...gah!

Anyway, as sheeshkabelle reminded me last night - tomorrow is another day. And like you said - yes, the recovery time quickens...this will be a much better day (not perfect, because the one person who gives me the best hugs I've had isn't here but at least now I remember how FABULOUS his hugs are!) :blush:

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

I told the lady that it is worthless submitting the doctor's letter on wednesday since they are packed with interview in May, she told me i can still send it to Supervisor Sue and she will send it to the embassy and they will decide if they will approve it or not.

She's right - send it anyway. If you get the expedite, you'll get in when the Embassy can squeeze you in. What have you got to lose? Nothing - but you could get a faster interview.

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

If you are approved for an expedite they could schedule your interview for just a few weeks away or less. If you feel like you qualify for an expedite then submit the request.

It's possible that Haiti has a long queue for family based visa petitions awaiting an interview at the Embassy. This may explain why they can't guarantee you a May or June interview.

We will get the doctor's letter this wednesday. without the letter, for May, there is no chance and they can not guarantee for June

Hi All!

Emily and I have had some great news in the past week. She's pregnant...with twins!! :dance::blink: It's safe to say that I am as excited and as scared as I have ever been. Our interview is scheduled in London for May 29th at the moment, and obviously we'd like to be together as quickly as possible. So questions...1)I know pregnancy doesn't qualify you for an expedite, but does twins change this? And 2) Is it even possible to expedite when an interview has been set, and how would I go about doing this...via NVC or the Embassy now?

I read your post and checked mine just now this morning...OURS SHOWS PAID TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Maybe it'll be a good day and maybe I will resend the AOS docs (one of the checklists I got mentioned they were received but I just don't care, they're being so inefficient I will keep ramming docs down their throat :D)

What i do not understand is i see a K1 haiti member that start his case in december ( mine started November) he got an interview on April 24th

What i do not understand is i see a K1 haiti member that start his case in december ( mine started November) he got an interview on April 24th

That is incorrect, they always allow expedite cases to have an extra interview slot. Secondly, K1 interviews are under different scheduling frames and are handled by Embassies. Basically if your request got approved you'll get an interview in May.

i just want to ask when should i get my case nummber

my NOA2 DATED in 16 march . and we need to expidite the case cause our approval was after expidite and they dont let us request only after the number assigned . any help ?
