EXACTLY 30 days after CC, finally an interview date scheduled for 17 MAY 2012 8AM...holly cow, Thought it'll EVER happen! Lisa in DOS confirmed that and was kinda surprised they didn't issue it last Friday, what ever that supposed to mean. she said they are probably busy in Casablanca and that why it took longer..Anyway, email to follow, should be getting it late afternoon. My wife is thrilled but we both overcome the excitement. On hold with NVC to re-confirm (5 minutes).

After numerous phone calls and three emails and finally talking to a supervisor at NVC this morning, I came home from my son's doctor appointment to this email:

Dear Sir/Madam:

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

CASE COMPLETE BABY!!

I was gonna say in a few days, but I remember Shell mentioned that an operator said that all IV invoices were on hold until the 13th when the new fees are in effect. So, it'll either be this Friday (if they're fast about it), or next week.

Apparently I missed this....new fees??? How much of an increase are we lookin at?

So .. NVC has received my aproval notice on march 26 and still no case #

How long does it usually takes for them to issue the #?

I've been waiting since 26th March too. I call NVC every day and just called again, and a lady said "We just received your file but we haven't assigned a case number". :wow: I just couldn't help saying that they did not JUST receive the file, it's actually been more than 2 weeks! :bonk: She was like "Yeah... it takes up to 20 work days"

All I can say is... keep calling :(

Just got the IV invoices on hold confirmed... A very nice lady told me that they will be available on Friday or Saturday

But congrats to everyone with their case completes and interview dates!

4/3 AOS bill invoiced and paid (in process)

i got case complete friday, how long would i have to wait for an interview date? im from trinidad

It entirely depends on the embassy/consulate. Try doing a search here on VJ with your particular embassy.

Immigrant Visa fees are decreasing by $100.00 and non-immigrant fees are increasing by $100.00

Keep trying, it took about 10 days from the time they received it, to the time I got a case number. They seem to be slowing down, be patient! (I know, easier said than done!)
