LOL really?! I have no scary art to contend with but Trav has his full hunting camo, bow/arrows, etc, etc, etc...apparently one of our closets is FULL of nothing but outdoorsy stuff (thankfully I at least enjoy this sort of thing, or we'd be in trouble...?)

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

I will give them a call on wednesday. Does my wife doctor owe her a letter to be sent to nvc for expedite. It is a must for the doctor to give her a letter if she request it?

You are refusing to 'find out' via a telephone call INTO NVC?

Look - each expedite intake is different, but it starts with a phone call.

YOUR WIFE must make the phone call, as she's the PETITIONER.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Ok I see, my wife has a paper saying that she is under high risk pregancy, can we send it?

Only if asked for it, after a telephone call INTO NVC requesting an expedite.

The USCitizen Petitioner (ie, not you) must make that phone call.

Yeah, I didn't trust my husband with the papers laughing.gif Or emailing the packages, so I did all that at NVC. It's a good thing he wasn't the beneficiary, I might not have trusted him doing the medical and interview by himself laughing.gif

Have to jump on the bandwagon here re: bitching about husbands. Why does it seem like most of the people on this forum are women? I was shocked to discover that until about 3 months into the I-130 process, my husband didn't even know what our USCIS case number was, even though he knew I'd been checking on our case online. He also makes fun of the number of posts I've made on these forums. I honestly think that if he had to do it all himself, we'd still be double-checking forms for the I-130! :bonk:

It occurs to me sometimes that this immigration process is probably a terrible way to begin a marriage... I sometimes fantasize about letting go of the reigns entirely and just saying, "Well the rest is up to you. Check the forums if you have questions about what happens next or what phone numbers you should be calling. Good luck, honey!"

I just said to my husband sign here. :)

OMG, same here!!! i'm doing EVERYTHING (including work/school), sigh... at least the hubby has been following my directions well... "sign here, print your name here, ..." LOL he got another set of certified originals of all his documents, so i guess i can applaud him there... he told me before our NOA2 that he'd be totally lost without me... i believe him...

We had a onsie for our son that said "Made in America, engineered with Canadian parts"

I've been asked quite a few times here on VJ Why we decided to use a lawyer. And my answer has been My husband! I swear if his head wasn't attached to his body he'd lose that too! :blink:

At first we planned on me doing everything but when we were up in anchorage last summer we talked to a lawyer and she was so nice, and it felt good just to gather up everything and give it to her! she filled out everything for us and we just had to sign!

And looking back on things I'm so glad we did it this way cause I got pregnant and with my hormones running through the roof i'm not sure my husband would have survived this process had I been relying on him to get his papers in order :bonk::P

So I just got an email from NVC, responding to my DS-3032 email... but the email said "To continue processing your immigrant visa case, you will need to designate an agent by completing form DS-3032 (Choice of Address and Agent)..."

Since that was my 2nd DS-3032 email, I was DISTRESSED! I called and Beau the agent responded. Beau told me "Ma'am, I don't know why they sent you that email, because we have your petitioner listed as your agent."

Me: "Really? Are you sure? So you have my petitioner designated as my agent?"

Beau: "Yes ma'am."

Me: "So all I'm waiting on now is for you guys to invoice me for the IV application?"

Beau: "Yes ma'am... you're good!"

Me: "Thank you SO much! 'Cuz you KNOW I'd be emailing this thing a 3rd time, right

Beau: (laughing) "Yes ma'am, but you're good to go."

Yay! Of course, I didn't know what to do first: call hubby, report here on this forum, or update my timeline! After I stopped jumping up and down I called the hubby.
