NVC said they do not forward a case to embassy until a interview date is set. I guess it is worthless calling this morning as my last call was friday, i doubt they send my package yet to the embassy.

I see, i hope you are right because my CC as on 4/3. So i'm hoping for May interview.

I just call they told me that my case has not been forwarded yet to the embassy so no interview date set. The operator told me to call next monday, April 16th to know if i have a May interview or not. She said that during the second week, embassy send to them available dates and she said they will see if they can schedule me in May

Okay, so I called up NVC too. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice and told me that they are in the middle of scheduling interviews, so I should be getting a date by next week. I really, really hope that's true.

It is basically the same thing they told us, i think i will wait until monday to give them a call. I do not know how i am gonna be resistant to wait until next week to call

Okay, it's not dropping from $404 to $230, it's dropping from $330 to $230. Remember, there's a $74 surcharge ($330 + $74 = $404). The new fee is $230, so $230 + $74 = $304. So, it's only $100 savings.

And wow, nice!!! That is an awesome deal for a t-shirt AND transfer! *gets money ready*

Yeah, I don't know. I am pretty sure you're right but the person on the phone specifically said "saving $200" so...I won't get my hopes up that they're right. I've learned enough to know you usually know more than they do (What a delay in response time though, eh? )

And, haven't ironed the shirts yet but probably will today. I'll take a pic when they're done!

Just sent the DS-230 Pt. 1 and 2 today. I forgot to attach the Police Clearance, 2x2 photos, birth cert. and marriage cert. Do I have to wait for the checklist or can send it right away like tomorrow? But I dont think I have to provide them with the marriage and birth certificate again, I already sent it with my I-130 package to USCIS so im pretty sure NVC has it already when they received the documents from USCIS.

Ok, don't feel bad think like that happens a lot. Have you sent out the originals to USCIS? they requested copies only with i130, NVC requests originals.

1. You can request that you'll provide the original documents at interview date (not sure how's that will work tho).

2. I would've suggest that you send the missing papers with the bar coded sheet on the top. HOWEVER, these are original doc so I would suggest to wait for a checklist and send the missing documents. You're looking for Wed or Thur to get the checklist.

Journey? What journey? We're still stalled out. I'm not sure what it is about our file but this is ludicrous. The quality time was needed, but it was way too short. I also hate planes and he's in one now so... Guess I'll just do my job until I hear he's safe on the ground again...you two have an interview date???
