but if you come to this forum to judge people

Normally, I don't judge.

In rare exceptions, when it's evident that someone is making a bonehead mistake, I gently nudge them in the other direction. If it's repetitive, then I can understand your concept of judging Rujby, as it is absolutely repetitive with him.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Obliged? no, not at all.

My hope (really) is that anyone reading these missives can understand that an expedite is possible based on high risk pregnancy, and can follow basic instructions on what to do.

As to 'arrogance' - sorry, you pegged that, ages past, after you refused to take action after I gave you the advice. Your God is a fair God, and gives Humans free will, leaving it up to all Humans to make choices. So, Free Will has damaged you, much.

Suffice it to say that the overwhelming burden of you being 6000 miles away from yer pregnant wife has driven you to the edge, and you truly aren't listening. You want sympathy, but refuse to engage in the expedite process at NVC, refusing to train your wife with the exact process for getting it started. Was it your environment that caused this? I claim it was Free Will, given to you by Your God, instead.

As to the use of the advanced search tool - the bit you are missing (because you not use it) is that I've walked about 45 couples through the expedite process over the last 3 years. I know how to do it ! I've told you how to get it started! You refuse to listen, and think your time is better spent searching for sympathy at VJ.

Now, as to this new doctor - you aren't thinking straight. Your wife can call in to the office, talk to a staff member, get exactly what she needs same day - is NO NEED to talk to the doctor, at all - a member of staff at the doctor's office suffices. I mentioned this, already, but you refuse to put that into action. Again, Free Will from Your God has hampered you - you chose to do something else.

Don't waste your time Darnell and do us all a favor a refrain from commenting on the OP situation. OP has clearly stated that your advice is no longer needed. Very respectful and give to others the proper respect that you would like to receive.

With Adobe Acrobat, there's a handy combine and merge option in which after you press it, you can select which documents you want combined, then it puts them all together in one file yes.gif

But glad your spiffy printer did it for you! And pretty cheap for an all-in-one, wow!

pay attention to the final filesize, usually anything over 10 megs will barf at the NVC inbox.

Some people got lucky, with 20 megs, though, on one email.

You can always send multiple emails, if it makes sense to you from a filesize standpoint.

You can also tweak the depth and output resolution via the settings on that printer, sometimes even 'per scan job' - which is really cool.

Good Luck !

Yeah, if you had asked, I would have pointed you to my wiki. I have a section on scanning stuff that mentions how to combine and merge files into one file. But glad you figured it out :)

And hey, if it works, then who cares, right? You don't need fancy LED screens with bluetooth or wifi laughing.gif

There's also a handy 'Reduce File Size' if you have Adobe Acrobat ;) Using that, my original 20MB AOS package went down to 8MB!

Hopefully your file wasn't big so it makes it through their email servers...

ya, alas.. file size reduction is specific by MFP and by PDF program and by scanning program.

We've not posted the compendium on ALL of them, it's too much work. Plus new models come out all the time.

I've a wiki up about EP for China, Saylin has one up about Canada (and I think you should follow her wiki , her steps mirror what you need to do) but the biggest hurdle that folk seem to have is to 'make the file' for email attachment. It's a PITA, regardless of what gear/software you have - you have to tweak all.

I think I'm good. One email was only 310.3 kb. I'm guessing kb is smaller than mb. My larger emails (sent 4 total emails) were 4.0mb and 6.0 mb. Phew! I am in the clear!

Yes, my 2009 tax transcripts....using that handy button on my printer....scanned in all pages to make one document. Was only 310.3 kb.....at least that is what my email says

That's really tiny for a file like that blink.gif But, oh well! As long as each email is smaller than 10MB, you're good.

Hopefully NVC isn't confused by your multiple emails though, but you should be fine yes.gif
