Thank you, I just call them and they told me that the case has not been forwarded yet to the embassy because an appoitnement date has not been scheduled yet for me. She told me it would be better that I call april 15th or 16th so they will tell me if an interview date is set in may for me or not.

It's a shame you not know how to manipulate NVC to get what you want.

This one little 'writing', above? is indicative of 'massive fail'.

I'm sorry to tell you, but you have no interest in pursuing an expedite at NVC.

A want, a need, sure, but an interest? Absolutely not.

i tried to send the email template but i always keep getting auto response saying follow instructions and i have put everything i tried 10x but getting same answer

You will get an auto response, that is the NVC server telling you they have gotten the email. You sent it 10 times one of them is bound to be accepted.

It will take two or more days for your DS-3032 to be accepted. You will get an email, that is NOT an auto response. At the very earliest you will get the acceptance email Monday.

Hi everyone. My son's case has just been completed yesterday and I'm still waiting for my case no. I want to be interviewed together with my son, so my husband called NVC yesterday and we were told to email Supervisor Sue for expedite. What does that mean? Our case is not really a matter of life and death situation so why would they say something about expedite? Any ideas? thanks! :-)

Another question guys? Is there a way to track what priority date embassies are currently handling? Or are case at embassy handled by priority date? My priority date which included in the paper that nvc were sending to me is november 10th.

and you checked the US Embassy in Haiti's website, that IV Unit, today? Yes?

There is another person here having the same issue. His stepdaughter's case is complete but his wife's is not. When he called NVC they told him to not worry, they will schedule both interviews at the same time.

Supervisor Sue is a programmed response to NVC email servers. Seeing Supervisor Sue in the subject line tells the server to throw that email into a supervisor que to be looked at :) It wouldn't be a bad idea to shoot an email over explaining the situation and see if they can get the cases competed quickly and 'merged' together.

Saylin i called NVc this morning and they said they got a checklist for my bangladesh police clearance.I told them i include it in PDf file then they said they saw the ppolice clearance but they have to fuss up with it to view(it was 6.15mp file, thats why i didnt reduce the size).Thats why i need to send it again.I didnt get the checklist email though.

What should i do now? wait for the checklist and then send the police clearance?Plz help :crying:

1. convert the pcc to pdf

2. use a pdf tool to reduce the depth and resolution. Don't have that? Print it to pdf again, using CutePDF, munging the output resolution to:

--black and white / greyscale and

--150 dpi

Good Luck !

Hi guys!

Trying to be proactive here; can anyone shed some light as to what is in packets 3 & 4 please!

alas, packet 3 and 4 are referenced in yer timeline, as it's an effort to 'capture data' for timeline tracking between Spousal Visas and Fiance Visas.

Packet 3 for a Fiance is stuff sent out from an IV Unit somewhere not in the USA,

Packet 3 for a Spouse is all of the documents and payments that are done at NVC. You know, you remember - DS-3032, DS-230, I-864..

Packet 4 is universal - that's the interview appointment letter. Fiance visa chasers get it sent out via postal mail - Spousal Visa Chasers usually get it from NVC/DoS as an email (there are exceptions)

You are only suppose to send it once and yes you will get an auto response and a couple days later you will get a reply from NVC whether it was accepted or denied.

Thanks a lot dear.I really appriciate ur help.Hope you ur checklist get fix too. Thanks again.

So on the subject line i'll only write Case no and "IV Checklist",right? and send in to nvcelectronic@state.gov?

actually, you can submit multiple versions of any document via email, for EP, anytime . No need to wait for any checklist. In fact, even after a case complete or even interview scheduled time tick - you can send it in. NVC will add it to the SAFEFILE version of the casefile, that MTL will see. MTL will even see the updates to your casefile after the 'interview scheduled' timetick, you betcha. This has been useful last year when a tax year tripped into the next one, an updated I-864 sent, without any checklist letter being generated.

for subject line - use CaseNumber: <<casenumber>>, <<Thing:DS-260>> , <<general name of thing: Police Clearance Certificate>>

then in the body - I am submitting my PCC again for the DS-260- this is an updated version - please add it to my casefile.

Sincerely [LASTNAME, Firstname, Case Number]

so what do we do now?? the timeline has a space to put when the documents left NVC, does it really matter? won't they send my husband a list of things to bring from the embassy in spain and then he can get his doc's appointment?

It won't matter.

What does matter is the interview letter.

Inside of it, it has the list of all of the documents, with a legend of what's what. Pay attention to that.

i actually think this is the interview letter, cuz it has all this stuff listed, [snip]

That's it.

Study the legend at the bottom for 'what to bring'.

emailed, literally three days after case approval, which is crazy and the interview date is only five weeks away, crazy!

Not really crazy - in fact - that's how it's supposed to work.
