You're normal. It should show paid sometime today. Mine took a day an a half, a full day after it cleared my bank.

Post offices are open, it's not a Federal Holiday. Some states declare it a state holiday, so some state offices are not open today.

Oh ok, thanks alot.. and i wasn't sure about the post office cuz i'm off from school today and the library is closed for instance... i get confused who closes when @_@

I tried sleeping in... but the littlest hasn't learned the value of sleep like the teenagers. He had me up at 6 this morning ... ugh!

hi all... I paid my AOS bill on April 3 and it still shows 'In Process'... they took the $88 out my account on the 4th... seems like it shows paid for most the next day or even 2 days later... am i still within normal timing for it to show as paid? I don't expect the DS3032 acceptance email for a few days, but i thought for sure the AOS would show as paid by now =\ also, anyone know if the post offices are open today?

It's within normal time frames still. It takes awhile now for the AOS to go from In Process to Paid. Just keep checking, hopefully it changes later today so you can mail the AOS package. Got everything ready for that?

And like Sheeshka said, it's not a federal holiday, but some places are closed (like my school). You can always call up your post office and make sure they're open all day to be sure.

Saylin FYI in regards to requesting for documents to be available at the time of the interview. I actually did this and they just closed my case. Just incase anyone else inquires.. :yes:

The first bus for the littlest three gets here at 6:35. The high school bus arrives at 7:00. But Brian is slow as molasses in January, so he gets up with the rest of them. Sometimes he's ready on time...

yea, its all ready to go... i put it all together in the envelope the day after I paid... here's my package in the order i have it in (if you dont mind giving me your opinion):

barcode cover sheet

personal cover sheet (where i also explain my student status and my stipend that should be the same each year)

i864ez (with 2010, 2009, 2008 for #19)

transcripts for 2010, 09, 08

employment letter stating i'm a student with the same salary listed on #18 in the i864ez for current annual income

pay stub summary showing all of 2011

pay stub summary showing all of 2012 until now

Three 2012 pay stubs (one for Jan, Feb, March)

and all items in bold I've written the case number in the top right corner

Okay, for the "Documents Left NVC" on the timeline, that will occur probably next week for you (it's typically the day after). It's not necessary to fill out anything in your timeline, but if another Spanish person is looking at it, I'm quite sure they'll appreciate a filled out timeline. Just call up NVC or DOS next week and they should be able to tell you when your package was shipped out.

And yes, very soon, you'll receive an interview letter package from NVC which states which documents are needed to bring to the interview.

For the medical, NVC doesn't send you any instructions. Your husband will have to schedule it himself through a panel physician in Spain.
