Yes, you'll get an email with the checklist. It will have a barcoded cover page you send back with what ever it is that is missing. After the barcoded sheet will be an explanation of what the issue is and what they will need.

In my case, even though I sent tax transcripts, they wanted my Schedule C showing my business income.

Thank you so much!

I hope you get an answer soon. Better yet, case complete!

Thank you so much! The operator cannot see what the problem is?

I hope you get an answer soon. Better yet, case complete!

Maybe. In my case the operator had no clue what he was talking about. The checklist said they wanted W2s. I don't have W2s or 1099s because I own my business, and I employ only myself. I had to send a letter with mine quoting the tax code that shows I'm a sole proprietor unincorporated business and I claim my income on a Schedule C. When I called yesterday, that seemed to satisfy them, but no one had really looked at what I had sent.

You're better off waiting on the email. In the mean time go over the AOS packet and try to think of what's missing.

Interview date Assigned! Unfortunately it's about a week late for Emily's Birthday, so looks like she'll be flying out to England for a few weeks before we fly back together. May 29th in London...Done and Done!

Yay!Congrats!!!May be you can try moving the date up?Not sure if it is possible with your embassy. It is with some of them..

We Have Our Interview Appointment!! Just got the email at 4:45pm EST We are set for May 15, 2012 @8am, London. So those of you who had CC at NVC mid-march onward should be hearing soon! I am glad this part will be over soon, however, we will more than likely have another 6 mos or so wait after interview...we are going to need an I601 waiver :( But crossing fingers for Cristmas together in NY (L)

Nice news!

IV package was accepted. AOS checklist is still being reviewed. Almost.. there...

Grats on this!

I got our interview date today by email! May 21st, so he may be here just barely in time for our June 3rd wedding anniversary!

That would be a perfect gift for the anniversary!Grats!

My poor littlest boy, he's six. He was talking to hubby on Skype and dad told him he was leaving to go skiing for the weekend, but he'd be home Sunday. Dusty's little face lit up, "You'll be here on Easter?!" "No, I'll be at my house, but I'll call you" The little guy's little face fell and the tears started.

:crying:

Hi all,

It has been a long long journey but getting there one day at a time. Just called NVC and found out that the IV pacakge was accepted and the case is complete. Will be notified of appointment date at the Islamabad Consulate.

:dance::dance: Grats on CC!

Congratulations to all those who got their interview dates. Hopefully, I'll be next.

You will,I am crossing my fingers for you!

Well, Trav's on the road now, headed for the airport. FINALLY. :) If I can't get anywhere with NVC, at least I can have a few hugs :)

That would be helpful! But I also wish you had some progress going by now!

Really? I got the email on 4/4 and my payment portal hasn't changed at all...

Well as soon as i got the email i checked the payment portal and the information had disappeared, which happened to my AOS as well. I think you should call and ask them about the invoice.

Sheeshkabelle any thought on my siuation?

If all they are needing is the PCC then scan it back in, and send it to them. Make sure to put your MTL number IV checklist in the subject line. In the body of the email put same as before, names and birth dates. Then write something like "on xx day I was informed by a representative that the police clearance certificate I sent on xx date was not able to be seen clearly in my electronic package. I have attached another copy of the police clearance certificate" Then send away.

It might not get reviewed until after they send you the checklist email. After the checklist email, re-send your email and they should get it.

An operator (Kelly) advised that the AOS needs to be corrected, but did not specify the problem. Will the e-mail Checklist indicate the error? Thanks

Kedic- Operators can tell you what line of the 864 needs correction. They knew what line of my DS-230 needed correction so I could fix it before I even got the checklist via email (the email came a full 2 days after I called and they told me that I got a checklist.

Timeline

Just called NVC to see if there was any update on my case. Took 17 minutes to get through. I wonder if they have a lot of people out on vacation today getting an early start on the holiday weekend. Very little hope at this point that we will get case closed by the end of this week. My biggest concern is that we will miss the party when they start issuing interview dates next week :(

If the review of the divorce document results in another checklist would it be possible to request that we provide the document at the time of the interview? I read of one member who was waiting on their PCC from Turkey and requested to bring it to the interview instead of waiting to get it and then send it to NVC. My concern is that it could take weeks to figure out the document they are looking for. The document we sent was accepted by USCIS and was confirmed by the Santiago Immigration Visa unit to be the correct document.
