jiaozi - steamed dumplings.

I have an outdoor cooking rig that I use, and a huge steamer, can hold 100 per tray.

It's fun to make them, I enjoy to do this, each time I do it.

It's some work, though, so I make 300 at a time.

That sounds kind of yummy...we ukrainians make perogies. I think i should look up a jiaozi recipe, yesterdayish!

NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

Good luck. I just got reduced to tears by Riley. Not that she wasn't nice - she was efficient - but she was the last of the monkeys today who could give me LITERALLY no answers!

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Our son's case is already case complete but I'm still waiting for my case no. so we called NVC to ask if they could schedule us for interview together when I'm done with NVC. We were told to email their manager Sue about our concern. I didn't know Sue until today and I remember reading about her here.

Well, technically, it should be 'none' as the question does apply to you, there just aren't any provinces in Hong Kong.

Just to make sure, there are absolutely zero gaps between the dates, right?

Actually, gaps between the dateswas the problem!! :wacko: I don't no how i didn't see this, I thought I proof read all the documents before I mailed them, but I goofed big-time!

I had to re-create a new DS-230 form, print, scan then Email it to my wife in Hong Kong for her to sign. Being its Easter weekend there-The Post office is closed until Tuesday April 10th :crying: 'I don't understand some countries'!!

Ooh Well, The lesson of today: Make sure a second or third person proof read your documents before sending them to NVC! :thumbs:

Good Friday is tommorow, so I guess I will have to wait until Monday for an interview date!!! Congrat :wacko: s to those who got them today!

6/20/11- Married my Soulmate

USCIS: 161 Days NOA1 to NOA2

9/1/11 - I130 Mailed (USPS Priority)

9/2/11 - Arrived in Chicago Lockbox

9/6/11 - NOA1 via text/email (rerouted to California Service Center)

9/9/11 - NOA1 Hardcopy in mail

9/9/11 - Check cashed .... and the wait Begin

2/10/12 - NOA2...no whammies, pleaase, email only, no txt

2/12/12 - mother in law past.... She was an angel

2/12/12 - NOA2 Hardcopy in mail

2/13/12 - NVC rec' case ! No expedite, but I worked a few nervIes...

NVC STAGE: .......days from case # to case complete

2/13/12: NVC received case (information only given on 02/13)

2/23/12: case number and IIN assigned - gave email info to operator

2/24/12 :Paid AOS fee and DS3032 sent by email (auto response received immediately)

2/27/12: AOS fee PAID on payment portal, Fee was withdrawn from Bank Account. So,is PAID :-)

2/27/12: mailed AOS (USPS Express mail) & was told the NVC accepted the Choice of Agent but havent heard or saw anything different

2/27/12: Choice of agent accepted

2/28/12: IV fee invoice received by email

2/28/12: Paid IV fee

2/29/12: IV fee PAID on payment portal

2/29/12: IV package sent

3/12/12: IV package reviewed and accepted. AOS package not Recv'd

3/14/12: Case complete!

4/06/12 : Interview Date Scheduled for 05/31/12!

4/09/12: Case file sent to Dakar

5/18/12: medical

5/31/12: interview , ap asking for joint sponsor

6/12/12: APPROVED!!!!

6/14/12 : pick up visa!!!

Currently : waiting to pick up visa

I believe they're open, but I don't know. Someone needs to ask an operator about Friday and Monday.
