Seriously! I'm biting my nails down to the nub wanting to hear if we've been scheduled for an interview but I have to hang up every time I hear the "you're gonna have to wait a long time" message :(

I keep refreshing my email. Nothing. It's almost 8pm I doubt we will hear something today. :( And why do you have to wait a "long" time?

My poor littlest boy, he's six. He was talking to hubby on Skype and dad told him he was leaving to go skiing for the weekend, but he'd be home Sunday. Dusty's little face lit up, "You'll be here on Easter?!" "No, I'll be at my house, but I'll call you" The little guy's little face fell and the tears started.

I explained to him this summer dad will move here, and then he'll have his Green Card and he'll never have to leave us again, he can stay in America. "But what about when he goes to work?" "He'll work here and he'll come home to us every night" Dusty lets out a little sigh "But summer is soo far away!"

Did you notice how the majority of countries who got interviews scheduled today where in Europe? Especifically ... the UK?

It seems to me as if NVC had recently received the availability list from the UK and that's why interviews started popping right and left? Dominican Republic and Colombia though are currently "on vacaciones" due to Semana Santa but I'm sure next week will be a different deal. Paciencia Amiga Mucha Paciencia :star:

Yes! I was thinking the same thing! All the Latin American countries are on vacation mode so perhaps that is why we did not hear anything today. Guess we gotta wait till next week, and wait, and wait, and wait.....

Tomorrow it will be 3 weeks of waiting for you. I feel your pain as I was stuck for about 3 weeks trying to get my IV package together and it was causing a lot of stress. But cheer up we're almost done :thumbs:

I think you're probably right! It seems like they got the UK availability all at once. I've got my fingers crossed for those of you in South America and elsewhere. Hopefully as soon as the vacations are over you'll get that email :yes:

Even though her appointment is April 18th, she doesn t have to wait to get the letter from the doctor?

Look, doctor's have staff folksen.

Tell her to call into the 'doctor's office'

and get a member of staff.

Then ask the member of staff to write the letter, have the doctor sign it, and to call her when it's ready.

i'm really surprised she not understand much about this.
