Just need some advice

My lawyer was refered by my moms friend from church and actually already helps a lot of people from our church. If you will see our church have a lot of Filipino its only because of that lawyer, and they only asking for a small fee which i think is cheap. So I need to talk to my lawyer and ask the real situation. Oh by the way, we never process anything about the baby yet.

Wait a minute!!! You said you've been married 3 1/2 years. You also said you filed a 129F. If both of those are true then there is a serious problem because the 129F is for Fiance's, not spouses.

No problem there... I also got married first, in January 2008 in Quezon City, Philippines, and I also had to file an I-129F to bring my wife here. I went by the visajourney checklist for filing a K-3 visa, a portion of which follows:

Forms Needed to File for a K-3 Visa:

1. I-130

2. G-1145 (optional)

3. I-129F

4. G-325a

I filed it, and then when it was approved it was all sent to NVC who in turn sent it all on to USEM, and then my wife had her physical and interview then came here to the USA (and then we had our beautiful son... ). The I-130 takes longer to complete. But she was given a visa while they finished all that. Gosh, that seems forever ago now. A whole lifetime ago.
