FYI: Abbreviations!!!!!

DO NOT use abbreviations!!!!!! Especially on the actual I-129 form or any legal form. Apparently they are not able to enter properly. Must be scanned or they have to enter exactly what is there if you get my drift?

My fiance had an unknown country of birth on my NOA-1! Come on!!!!! Really, but it made sense once I looked at the paper, still though. Stupid. Learned the hard way. Hey, they spelled his last name right. I had specifically called USCIS and addressed that with them before I sent anything to make sure it was acceptable. They said yes...SOOOOOOO....just don't do it.

Anyways to right the situation I had to call and put in a change of info which takes about 2 weeks to hear back that it was changed. The man assured me that it would not stall the process any. Make sure when you get any receipts to double check everything. If I had just glanced at it I would have missed it.
