US Visa processing fees to change from April 13

Does this means that one at NVC will no long pay $404??? From April... Don't understand. This someone help me

I heard the same, however, it is the K-1 Visa Processing Fee you pay at the Consulate that has changed and not the I-129F Petition fee.

My question is do I pay the new reduced fee of $240 even though my interview has been schedule but it is after April 13th??

K-1 Visa Journey

11/11/11 - 129-F mailed to Dallas, TX lockbox

11/17/11 - NOA 1 Received

02/22/12 - NOA 2 Received (97 days from NOA 1)!

03/06/12 - NVC sent case to interviewing consulate

03/30/12 - Packet 3 & 4 sent via email! Interview Date Set! (179 days after NOA 1)!

05/14/12 - Interview Day!! **APPROVED!!**

05/17/12 - K-1 Visa Issued!

This has to do with When you get approved and your file is sent to the Embassy, you will need to pay $350 (K1). From April 13th 2012, that fee will be reduced to $240. And $330 to $230 for spousal Visa. Its Visa processing meaning at the end of your journey.

You would get to pay the new reduce fee on interview day. YAY!

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
