The place of my first job went under as well. I still put the address. No need to explain. I don't think they do any checks on previous employers (not for Canada anyway). If it's mentioned at the interview, then you can explain, but I doubt this will happen.

Another thing is the dates. I cannot seem to get the dates that I worked (I know the year, but the month I am unsure of) for these companies as well.

You can't look at old pay stubs to determine when you started? Or perhaps a diary or even Facebook (if applicable) talking about your first day at work?

What did you put on the G-352A that was included in the I-130 petition? There was an exact question about previous employers...

At the time I did not have facebook and I do not have old paystubs to look at. I have contacted the Franchisee and the Corporation but cannot seem to get a definite answer from them. On the G-325A I only had to do 5 years back as opposed to the DS230 which is 10 years. Can I put the year alone for the one and then the month and years for the other?

God Bless

Chris

Ah, didn't know it was that far back for you for what's holding you up. Didn't notice it was a longer timeframe on the DS-230/DS-260 than the G-325A. For me, all my employment was within the last 2-3 years at the time of filing, so it was the same information for me.

If you were filling out the DS-230, I would have suggested just including an additional sheet with just the year for one with an explanation that you don't remember the month. But alas, you're filling out the DS-260 and typically with online forms, if you don't fill something in, you'll get an error saying something was left blank. I'd just go with a best guess at that point for the month. I doubt NVC will investigate.

I also have a question concerning what to put for location (address, city, province, country) or just (city, province, country), or just(province, country) or just (country)?

For my DS-230, I put address, city, and province. No need to put country as they'll know which one from the province.
