Yes they will accept the document. Ours was like that and they had no issue with it. Sometimes a person can only be added as an occupant and not as a renter.

I am mostly worried because I am Muslim and my wife is not.

Would our relationship be questioned on account of my being a Muslim?

This is very important, I hope someone gives valuable advise.

I don not think it is anything to worry about. As long as you are not a Muslim you should be good to go :)

Has he filed any tax returns with you as married filing jointly? Tax returns are a big item that shows you are comingling your lives. After that assets like house, car, investments, bank accounts, credit cards are good examples. IMHO weaker items are utility bills, leases, and photos. I think the USCIS wants to see a normal progression of two seperate lives being converted into two people who are now married. As long as you do what normal married people do as far as combining your lives there should not be any problems. Marriage fraud is about getting the GC and avoiding immigration law. Typically those people do not want to merge their lives because that would make it complicated when the marriage ends after the GC is received. I am assuming you are recently married so your evidence will be thin. All we had was a car title and the marriage certificate and that she was living at the same address.

I think you will be fine with what you have.

Good luck,

Dave

Hi Dave,

My husband did not include me as his dependent on his tax return because i didn't have SSN. i don't think if there is a question for us being a marriege freud because i totally move in to his house after our wedding. Also i move a school where it is closer to his house. My only concern is the lease. thanks for your opinion i really appriciate it.

Do not worry about the religion thing because i don't think the USCIS will make a big deal for that, as long as you showed them that your marraige is true.

Religion is not an obstacles...
